WFD

I'm trying out a new recipe in my hard working crock pot tonight: https://lecremedelacrumb.com/2014/12/slow-cooker-enchilada-quinoa.html I added a bell pepper and some chopped frozen spinach, bc my mother nagged me in the back of my brain for not having any fresh green veggies in there (but last night was chili cheese hot dogs, shhhhh, don't tell her!)

  • I made a whole chicken yesterday so leftovers tonight!  Tomorrow I'm making my own paneer (cheese), it's surprisingly fairly easy!  Then I'll make panak curry (spinach based) to go with my paneer.  And I'm also making a homemade butter chicken!

  • We are doing roasted red pepper and mozzarella chicken with couscous and asparagus. It is like the easiest recipe ever and my hubby loves it.

  • Yay! Crockpot meals! 

    I'm trying to imagine what WFD stands for, but I can't figure this one out. Unless it's, "Whoopee! Food! Delicious!" ;-)
  • My husband, mother in law and myself are doing he 21 day fix diet. For dinner tonight is veggie stir fry with brown rice. And then a snack of raspberries and blueberries with Greek yogurt. 

    Its all about portion control. I like it :-)

    WFD = what's for dinner!  But I like Whoopee!  Food! Delicious!!

    I am secretly addicted to bread products in a tube.  I am so making this!
  • Baby will be getting boob.  DH can eat ice cubes for all I care, because I NEED SLEEP so that's what I'll be doing. 
  • Tonight I think I'm going to do tuna patties with asparagus and an orange for dessert.  I've started this new diet that includes 2 shakes a day that are actually filling!  It's awesome and so quick.  I don't find myself at 3 or 4 or later in the afternoon thinking about how I wish I had time to make myself lunch let alone start planning dinner. 
    If there's something strange underneath the hood.  Who you gonna call?  Your Doctor.  If there's something weird and it don't look good.  Who you gonna call?  Your Doctor.  Immediately.  If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor.  It's for your health and your child's.

    I made chicken, rice, and green beans with white gravy (because I have a ton of milk that had reached its sell-by date).

    My husband won't get home until way after I'm in bed, so I'm torn between making some chicken Alfredo and doing pancakes (it's national pancake day and we couldn't hit IHOP for the free pancakes). If I do pancakes he probably won't eat them, but we have chicken parm from dinner last night, so either way he won't starve. 
  • sautéed chicken breasts, garlic couscous and sautéed spinach with lemon cream sauce.
  • Coconut curry with broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, and chicken. Served over jasmin rice and homemade naan.
