Last night I was doing some reading on the What to Expect App and stumbled across the tips on cleaning etc. Anyway, this reminded me that with our 1st DH had graciously offered to clean the bathrooms throughout my pregnancy due to stronger chemicals in the cleaning products and fumes, etc. It's funny because I never mentioned it the first time, he just offered (maybe he read it somewhere himself).....sooo this time with a little smile on my face I asked him if he would be doing the same and his response was "you'll be fine, that's what face mask and gloves are for" LOL. He then smiled and said "yes, I'll take over the bathroom".
For those of you wondering the cleaning tip on the app was to use as many natural cleaning products as possible, use gloves, a mask and open a window if you can. I'm sure I'll end up still having to clean the bathroom from time to time but it's nice that he'll be doing it most of the time. I think for him it's more about helping out and I appreciate that so much, especially with having a toddler running around. Anyway, the the last tip Ladies was....Pull the Pregnancy Card! LOL.
Sooo, lets hear it: Have you pulled the pregnancy card yet or do you plan on pulling it at some point? If so for what??
Re: Pulling the Pregnancy Card
I can't really think of much I can pull it on besides maybe ordering take out more. DH works way longer hours than I do, so if something has to get done, it has to be me. Although Saturday morning's gym class for DD can be his deal.

My husband has been cleaning the litter box for a few months now, ever since he learned he would have to do it once I was pregnant anyway. She's my cat from long before we were together and they don't like each other much but he does it for me. He whines about doing it and gags as he does it but I appreciate him taking care of me and our baby.
When I told my best friend that I am pregnant the only advice she gave me after having three children is to use the pregnancy card often. I haven't figured out how to do that yet but I'm sure it will have its advantages
I don't think it's 'pulling the pregnancy card' so much as 'I will quite possibly light the house on fire if I attempt to cook right now.'

In general, I don't know that I play the pregnancy card too much, but I do for see myself playing the "HALP I have two babies" card come November.
