Weirdest Food Craving?

Hi-
My DH was laughing at me yesterday when I was eating rice mixed with peanut butter and Hot Kim Chee. I thought it was wonderful. He said the thought alone made him mildly ill. I also have had an attraction to the smell of laundry soap with all my pregnancies-including this one. I will never actually eat it, but sometimes it smells good enough to make the thought cross my mind. LOL!
Anyone else out there had strange cravings or been attracted to the smell of unusual things?

Honey, pregnancy cravings are nothing compared to breastfeeding cravings. lol. When I've been pregnant, I usually crave buffalo wings, and peanut butter.

I thought Spaghettios was a strange one! I bought a week's worth yesterday. 

During my first pregnancy my cravings were pumpkin pie and Ocean Spray 100% White Grapefruit Juice. That juice only. I actually emailed Ocean Spray to tell them about it and they sent me a free coupon! Score. 

DH also made the fatal mistake of eating the last piece of pumpkin pie once. I cried so hard that he went to the store at 10 pm to buy another one. He didn't do that again without asking. Poor guy, I think I scared him.

Lately all I want is cheeseburgers. Not so strange, but I find it funny that I think about a cheeseburger at least 3 times a day!

I was grocery shopping yesterday and was incredibly nauseas the first 10 min after it started to calm I walked past a cheese coffee cake and had to have it... So weird

Not weird, but I'm craving fruit and fruity flavored things. Specifically, the assorted flavor Push Ups (the ones that used to have the Flinstones on the wrapper). DH has  been searching for a week and I get the feeling they don't exist anymore. So he bought me sorbet instead.

Ive had lots of cravings this time, including plain cooked broccoli with a bit of salt, and root beer floats. Nothing too strange, but still intense cravings.

I'm mainly have food aversions to everything, but once I decide something sounds edible, I have to have it. This weekend that was popcorn, I think I had 3 (microwavable) bags.

I've done this with all of my pregnancies. Cheeseburgers, cheese dip, cheese fries. Cheese. The only time I want a Big Mac is when I pregnant. I also have boys so I blame them.

I don't eat seafood yet I ordered a crab salad at lunch on Saturday. It was the only thing that sounded good. How random is that?!

I'm not having crazy cravings but I did just eat the most amazingly delicious orange and now all I want is another orange. I have one more at home and I HAVE TO HAVE IT. I actually just contemplated leaving work early just to eat it sooner.

Italian subs and new this weekend I fell in love with Pringles haha. Seems like anything salty. Last pregnancy I was obsessed with double stuffed Oreos and Mexican food. (My son now loves Mexican food lol)

Can't stop eating Special K. I am not even really a cereal person and haven't regularly eaten cereal since I was a kid but I will eat 2 or 3 bowls of Special K in a sitting.

I just want ALL the cheese. Like, all the time. And on everything.

Although I'm not sure if that's related to pregnancy, or the fact that I've been on a pretty strict diet for the past 9ish months. Either way- CHEESE ME, PLEASE.

YES! I made myself a grilled cheese last night with extra sharp cheddar and white cheddar and I swear it was better than sex.

On Saturday I was craving the sugar cookies I used to get at Subway when I was a kid.  I haven't been in a Subway in years so I don't even know if they have them anymore, but I did learn that my town has a cookie delivery store, which I used!

I'm with you ladies on the cheese cravings. I'm trying so hard to eat healthy foods but yesterday I caved and had mozzarella sticks for lunch...

I have a Liz Lemon-level love of cheese in the first place, and now it's completely out of hand. (I am fine with this.) I've also been wanting tacos and cheeseburgers. I don't consider any of that weird. I always want those things. I just want them more now.

However, out of nowhere this morning, I wanted Boca sausage links so badly. That was weird. Also cucumbers can fuck right off.

Kroger potato salad.
I was going to get some yesterday but I was dry heaving my way through the store, everything sounded repulsive so I thought the craving would pass. Nope. Sitting at work today trying to think of what restaurant has potato salad. 

ETA: Mustard potato salad. Because mayonnaise is gross.

All these cheese gifs are making me hungry!  

For one brief moment, I only wanted toast with peanut butter.  Then yesterday, I wanted beer-battered fish tacos so bad.  

One consistent thing though:  I've been putting ketchup on almost everything.  It's embarrassing.

Taco Bell... Ugh! So gross but so good. I only eat Taco Bell when I'm pregnant... I don't know what they put in it but it pretty much cures my nausea. Until a couple hours later when I'm burping it... But until then it's heavenly.

Yes to all the cheese! And bananas with peanut butter. The past couple of days I've also been obsessed with cinnamon Life cereal. I'm already gaining too much weight with this pregnancy!

I had the urge for peanut butter a few days ago. I go sit down and my son is staring at me. "Do you have just a bowl of peanut butter?" Uh, no. There's a banana in there too. It was a bit much, I admit.

I'm also more in the aversions to everything, until something sounds good and THEN I NEED IT RIGHT NOW GUYS SERIOUSLY camp...like just now, the nausea ebbed and I inhaled an egg bagel with plain cream cheese.

I've also been eating a ton of kids' cereals--I'm normally a cereal person but not the really sugary stuff, and I definitely ate a bowl of Cap'n Crunch (with crunchberries!) for breakfast. Fun fact, it has 100% of your daily recommended folic acid...so I can pretend it's for baby's brain health...right?

Isn't it so funny that pregnancy causes kid cereal cravings?? So far this pregnancy it's been Golden Grahams, Reese's PB puffs, and Cinnamon Life for me.

Reading all these makes me want everything everyone has mentioned!

For me I've wanted cheese (super sharp cheddar is my favorite), pickles,  cheeseburgers, mozzarella sticks, white cheddar bacon popcorn from Trader Joe's. 

DH side eyes me when I had fries dipped in ketchup and blue cheese dressing mixed together. (We were out of mayo)

With my first pregnancy, I craved orange juice all.the.time!! This time, it is oranges. I could eat 2 or 3 whole oranges in one sitting sometimes.

I feel nauseous reading about all this food!!! I've been into Annie's Mac and cheese, cheese sandwiches, saag paneer, fruit...basically carbs and cheese! Also, honey bunches of oats cereal.

Sooo funny!! I've been eating spaghettio o's every single day and last night it was pumpkin pie!! Lol My fiancé had to go out and get a frozen one at the store because I couldn't stop thinking about it!

Carbs carbs and more carbs... It's the only thing not making me sick. I'm trying to make sure i get enough vitamins and minerals as well, but I admit today I felt crappy and had plain pasta for lunch, nothing on it at all

Lately it has been ice cream. The other day, I wanted bad fried chicken in the worst way. Not good fried chicken....been sitting out all day and now it's dry and stringy kind of fried chicken. Actually that still sounds good.
