I apologize in advance for asking a question I feel like I should know the answer to, but does anyone know how soon after conception a home pregnancy test will show as positive? Thanks in advance!
If I remember correctly, implantation takes place 7 -10 days after fertilization. You should be able to test 2-3 days before your missed period and have it be accurate. Most tests say to wait until after you've missed a period though.
@MrsN092714 thank you. I don't know my date of ovulation, so I'm just not sure how applicable those percentages are to me. I just know the last time I had sex, so I'm wondering how accurate it would be based off of that given that would be the most recent chance of getting pregnant. lol! @hmhierholzer I appreciate the info. I was thinking the same thing. The only thing is I'm on the mini pill so my periods are unpredictable to say the least. :-/ No idea if I'm late right now, have missed one, or am totally fine. Lol
If you are know when the sex was and are worried about being pregnant just think of it as close to your ovulation. Sperm can live for up to 5 days so push your 'O' date 5days after the sex and that should pretty much cover ya!
