I eat my kids left overs. Maybe the thought of eating the food instead of tossing a perfectly good lunch helps me stomach it lol. Nausea has started today
I just seem to not want anything. I force myself to eat my fruits and veggies before I fill up on my 'meal'. I just worry I'm eating enough. I also seem to want to eat more sweets and unhealthy things, such as burgers, and fries, and pizza. I've been good though and haven't eaten anything 'bad'. Being that I'm only 6w4d I can only imagine these preferences to get stronger.
I agree with the carbs. Bites of things that you can stomach (whether or not they sound very appealing) throughout the day. And sneak in the cravings now and again.
I always just tell myself "two bites and you're done". I can almost always do two bites of whatever's in front of me, and with something in my stomach I usually feel better enough to want *something* (usually rice with butter, salt and pepper).
Bagels forever. I find that I'm not really into something, but once I start eating it, I'm ok. Which sucks, because eating makes me feel better, so I'm destined to be fat as hell forever.
Ugh, I felt this way a lot my first pregnancy. I found that it passed after first tri though. i just ended up eating a lot of bread. I'm eating pizza right now.

Ugh...I wish I could do this! But once I start, there's no stopping! One bite, girl, one bite! I'm better off to just say no. I'm a helpless foodie, I think.
I carry a Ziploc baggie of frosted mini wheat with me at all times! I find I get most nauseous when I'm hungry so I try to munch all day. Fewer "meals" and more grazing has helped me.
Personally, I'm finding my "morning sickness" is worse in the evening, so I load up on food in the morning and during the day (mostly carbs- cant stand the look or even thought of meat). Have some saltines within reach all day, that tends to sit well no matter how bad I'm feeling. I'm also living on La Croix since it helps settle my stomach (and way better for me than soda )
I'm always hungry, but nothing I ever have in the house ever sounds good. With DS all I really wanted was Popsicles, oranges, jelly bellies, and sour patch kifs. Lol.
I'm living off of two things right now; peanut butter flavor think thin bars and Vermont real sticks (check them out- they are awesome, IMO!). They are life savers!! When everything else seems disgusting, I can always slam one of these two and feel better. I'm also celiac, so as much as I'd love to, it's really hard to just "carb-out".
Here's to getting on the other side of 12 weeks and all of these symptoms easing up! (my last pregnancy is really subsided by week 13, but then my gag-reflex got kind of bad... hoping for something better this time around!)
