We are considering purchasing a Dockatot for our almost 2 month old. Right now he is sleeping in the Mamaroo right next to our bed. He wakes up one to two times a night. I want to start transitioning him to the crib and have read good reviews on the Dockatot. Does it really work? Is it worth the investment?
Re: Dockatot
ETA: We've been using it to cosleep. We're going to transition over to the bassinet this weekend. I don't forsee any problems except for separation anxiety on my part
I had to google it because I've never heard of it.
I'd save your money and just roll up receiving blankets instead! That's what I did with both of my kids. Rolled up small, thin blankets and put them under the fitted sheet in the crib. Voila! Does the same thing that Dockatot does but for WAY less. Worked well for both of my kids too.
Looking forward to traveling with it! I'm sure it will make sleeping in a new place much easier on him.
Worth the money IMO. Hope that helps!
