Keeping LO awake

What methods are you all using to keep your LOs awake in order to take a full feeding? The only one that I have thought of that actually keeps DD awake enough to get to the hind milk of boob #1 is to change her diaper/clothes. But it is such a pain to have to get up, do all the changing, get back into the recliner, arrange the Boppy one-handed, and get her to re-latch. Then she falls asleep again and I have to do it all over again to wake her up for boob #2 and then again halfway through. Ugh! Some helpful ways to wake her up without me getting up every time would be helpful. (Someone mentioned touching ice packs on her skin for a second to me but that seems a little harsh to me.)

I saw someone mention on the 0-3 babies board that she would undress her babe and put a cold can of soda on him, so I guess people actually do it!

I change her diaper, but I leave her in just a diaper, so she's not all warm and snuggled in her pajamas. Also, tickling her cheek seems to wake her up, too.

One lc I saw had me rub the back of his head. We also strip down to a diaper.

Feed in nude, play with hands, rub head (this actually puts mine to sleep) and tapping chin were all things we did to keep lo awake to feed in the nicu

My LO doesn't like her feet touched, so I play with her feet, rub the back of her neck, etc. With DD, I'd feed in just a diaper during the day, then cover her with a blanket between feeds. She was an August baby, though.

Even in Florida, it has been cold at night so that is why I haven't tried feeding her in just her diaper. But I guess it really won't be so bad for her as she will be on me. DS was a September baby and I never worried about him being cold until he was 4 months old.

Mine hasn't had an issue eating enough because she's fallen asleep, but when I needed her half awake for a night feeding, I would unzip the bottom of her sleep sack. She doesn't like getting naked (hopefully she still feels that way in about 15 years lol) so it bothered her enough but not so much she would pitch a fit

Our doc told us to use a wet washcloth to keep awake for feedings.  Cool enough to give her a little start but not quite as harsh as an ice pack or cold soda can.

Went to a breastfeeding class and the lactation consultant mentioned all of the above. She did say that she would run her hands in cold water for a few before starting. I typically stroke my LO chin which he hates or rub the bottom of his feetZ
