    1. I get tired standing
    2. I have everything to make a lasagna today, but I'm tired just thinking about it.
    3. Next week is supposed to hit 70 degrees!  I'm holding you to it, weather.com!
    4. Our twins turn 2 in two weeks!
    5. I'm not hosting a birthday party. I don't feel like it.  I would rather do it when I'm not pregnant.  I'm going to have a brunch for any grandparents, aunts, uncles that want to come, but that's it!
    6. The twins have napped 1 out of the last 6 days. Help!
    7. I'm trying to count carbs because my 1hr test was borderline (134 - my office uses 140), but I have such a sweet tooth!
    8. Not helping with the above was the 2 giant slices of cake my neighbor brought over after celebrating her son's baptism.  It was gooood cake!  It would only be better if the twins were sleeping!
    9. My contractions are the least frequent they've been in over a week!
    10. After delivering at 26weeks last time around, I am officially a FTM again because I've never made it this far.  I can't wait to make it to third trimester!

    1. If it wasn't for the primaries, I wouldn't have bothered leaving the house today.

    2. I also put on some eyeliner and mascara. Skipped the foundation, but that's still more than I've put on in weeks! Forgot how nice it feels to make a little bit of effort sometimes.

    3. I also made myself go to the mall so I could stop by Motherhood and by a couple of maternity bras that actually fit. They didn't have any in the size I need, so I went across to Victoria's Secret. After a long fitting session trying to find what works, I finally picked out a couple. At this point I don't even care that they aren't maternity/nursing bras...I'm just happy that they fit.

    4. That being said, it's kind of weird....I went from being a 36C pre-pregnancy, to a 38 and 40 (depending on the bra), but the usual C cups for both of those were waaaayyyyy too big. So then I thought I'd game the system by buying a bra extender and wearing it with my old 36C, but then the cups were too tight. And then when I got to VS, the best fitting bras were in 38B. My boobs certainly *look* bigger, but I've somehow gone down a size? Also, I suspect that I'm actually a 40B rather than a 38, but neither store carries that. Adding my bra extender makes the cups sort of poof out in a weird way though...so I don't know. At this point I'm just throwing up my hands and am going to settle for this and if I have to buy another goddamn bra before this pregnancy is over then I will deal with it at that point.

    5. Also holy shit the veins in my shoulders/collar bone area, y'all. Didn't realize how prominent they were until I saw myself in the dressing room mirrors.

    6. Before anyone mentions it: yes, I stopped by Nordstrom first. Their person who does bra size fittings is apparently out today or something. Third trimester is kicking my ass, so I decided not to come back another day because I don't know when I'll next have the chance, and went straight to Motherhood/VS afterward. :/

    7. I did buy some nursing pads while I was at Motherhood. I haven't started leaking yet, but I know it's only a matter of time...

    8. Glucose test was yesterday. I was dreading it more than labor, but it didn't go as badly as I was afraid it would. Fingers crossed that I passed...

    9. I went to Taco Bell after all the bra stuff and ordered the Cheesy Bean and Rice burrito because I have no self control. It was delicious.

    10. My little sister is a vet tech and I just found out she got her eye scratched up pretty badly by a patient. Considering all the injuries and B.S. and stress that she's had to deal with over the years, I admire the hell out of her, because she still loves her job and takes pride in it. I don't think I have the strength to face half the stuff that she does on a daily basis.

Edited to add a number 11: In case you don't recognize me from the avatar, this is the artist formerly known as MrsKToBe09. I finally figured out how to change my username a few days ago, but today's the first day it's reflected that change (at least to me).

    1. I'm extremely tired today

    2. Did not sleep well last night

    3. SO was being a major butt last night, hurt my feelings and made me sob like a baby.

    4. We have our first birthing class tonight from 7-9:15pm.... zzzZzzzZzz

    5. I ate mcdonalds for breakfast and will be eating it again for dinner on our way to class.. no shame.

    6. I have a ton of farewell parties to plan at work and its exhausting

    7. I am flying home for my baby shower this weekend and very excited to see my family.

    8. Everything on my body is swollen and 3x its normal size

    9. I hurt everywhere and if my feet could talk they would curse me for the weight they're carrying

    10. Did I mention SO is a butthead?

Uh oh! What happened with SO???

    1. I finally finished painting the baby's room this weekend! I despise painting.
    2. I thought my heartburn wasn't going to be as bad this pregnancy....until 3rd tri hit.
    3. I also did not sleep well last night. I tossed and turned until 1:30-2 and finally fell asleep sometime after that.
    4. I broke down and bought a Yeti tumbler. Best purchase ever! The ice never melts, which means I can fill it up and have ice cold water in the middle of the night and right when I wake up!
    5. DD was being a turd this morning but when I was dropping her off at school she gave me a hug and said "I'm sorry for not being a good listener, mommy." So I went to my car and cried a little.
    6. This weather is driving me crazy! It was beautiful this weekend, today it's cold and rainy, and tomorrow night it's supposed to
    snow.
    7. I keep dropping hints to my parents hoping they'll offer to buy the double stroller we want.
    8. I spend at least half of my morning deciding what I'm going to eat for lunch. I could just pack my lunch, but every time I do I still end up buying lunch because whatever I brought doesn't sound good.
    9. We need a lot of little stuff before baby is born, but every time I'm at the store I forget everything we need. I can't just bring myself to write it down!
    10. I'm pretty sure baby is still transverse. According to spinning babies, transverse position gets more concerning after 30 weeks. One more thing for me to worry about!
I wouldn't worry too much. At my appointment yesterday we found out our baby is still transverse and we're almost at 30 weeks. Our midwife basically said that we can start some exercises now if we would like that should get her moving, but they don't really get too concerned until later (about 36 weeks). They also said that baby will most likely move out of transverse soon anyway bc it's going to start to get uncomfortable in that position as it's running out of room.
DD2 was transverse most of the time until 39 weeks and she flipped head down on her own right before attempting a version. I didn't know about spinning babies until 37 wks so I wasn't doing anything to help her move. Don't give up hope, they can still flip at the last minute.

    1) DH is out of town and for some reason I've been cooking like a beast
    2) Case in point: Last night I made pork and shrimp lettuce wraps. YUM
    3) Second case in point: I'm having leftover jambalaya for dinner tonight
    4) I'm kind of a foodie
    5) My dog has taken to barking like a crazy animal in the middle of the night; I think squirrels are coming on the deck. How do I stop this behavior?!?
    6) Supposed to have birthing class tonight but DH is out of town, so we are going to make up the session another time. It's the class where we learn about massage! We BETTER make it up!
    7) I've got a huge presentation March 13 and I'm  working like crazy. I CAN'T WAIT for March 14
    8) I'm getting tired of wearing the same thing all the time but I don't want to spend $$ on maternity clothes anymore.
    9) I am oddly energized these days. I think all the walking I do helps in that regard. When DH is home he takes care of some of the dog walking.
    10) I tried to vote this morning and the lines were so long I couldn't stay (THANKS Donald Trump). I'm going to return after work because voting is very, very important to me.
This. Me either! So tired of spending sooo much money on maternity clothes. I really hate to think I'll look ugly and not very stylish the last of my pregnancy but a huge part of me doesn't give a flying hoot!
Because I am on target's website shamelessly checking my registry...I have found some great  maternity clothes on clearance.  Last week I got 2 pairs of shorts for $15.
Me too! I found a maternity sweater for 8 bucks for Target while buying Shower thank you's. SCORE
  • 1. I can officially say "next month," if anyone asks me when baby will be here (as long as nothing goes wrong).

    2. ^ That is just crazy to me!!

    3. No one has asked, yet....maybe soon?

    4. I'm just gonna end it here because I'm too tired, and excited, to continue.

    1.  Ummm... the Navient discussion is making me nervous.  I don't have any loans with them, but one of DH's got sold to them last year by ACS.  Why tf would your payment suddenly jump up so much??

    2.  Another bit on student loans... DH is... funny about money.  I'm in charge of setting up his student loan payments each month because he is just bad about remembering that kind of thing (and he refuses to do automatic withdrawls).  Well, for his bigger Master's degree loans, he's on ICR.  I've been being not entirely truthful him and paying more than the ICR minimum each month because the minimum didn't even cover the interest accruing - I'm on ICR for my loans with that servicer as well, and I do the same thing mine.  ANYWAY, we're reapplying for his ICR right now and last night he asked if his loans were getting any bigger and wanted to make sure they weren't, so, I had to tell him I'd been paying more than the ICR minimum.  Thankfully, he understood, and was actually happy about it.

    3.  One last financial note, I always feel like I have to walk on eggshells around DH about money.  He's in a salaried full time position with a school district, and he makes about 3x as much as me.  I also work full time between two part time jobs, but end up taking home less than 20k after taxes, and that doesn't include what I spend on health insurance, and things like that.  Basically, I have a lot less cash to spend on other things, and he gets really frustrated and complains that he has to pay for everything.  I wish I was earning more so I could help out more, but there's not much that I can do about it right now.  I usually end up feeling pretty bad about myself, even though logically I know that I'm doing what I can.

    4.  GD test is tomorrow at 8 a.m.  Fingers crossed that I pass.

    5.  I usually work afternoons in the school library I work in, but today was a half-day so I had to go in early.  On one hand, it's nice when there's two of us there at once, on the other, it's harder to get stuff done when you have 7 classes coming through in a 2 1/2 hour timespan vs a seven hour timespan.

    6.  I purposefully didn't tell my boss at the public library that I had off this afternoon so I didn't have to work.  Instead I got to run errands that needed doing, including getting my shower dress!

    7.  I struggle with low self-esteem, combined with depression and anxiety, and I started a 'gold sticker' spreadsheet for myself to keep track of when I'm able to do something or make a positive change with something I've been struggling with.

    8.  Baby's room is still entirely DH's game room, but I totes started a "Shit We Need for Baby's Room" spreadsheet to try to motivate myself.

    9.  Spreadsheets are awesome.

    10.  Not sure if it was May '16 or another board I was lurking on, but I saw something about how babies need so much stuff and where on earth do you put it all.  Yeah... aside from a few bags of clothes given to us by SIL and one of DH's coworkers, everything else we have is in the back of our cars.  I've had some stuff I bought from coworker in the back of my car since November.

    7. I read so many comments online last night from people who are saying that they are voting for Trump in the primary because they don't want Hilary for President.  This bothers me because people don't seem to understand that in the primary the contest is not between Trump and Hilary but rather between Trump and the other GOP candidates.  I can't wrap my head around people declaring that a primary vote for Trump is a vote against Hilary.
This just confirms my theory that people who vote for Trump are just morons, racist, or both.
