Happy Monday ladies! I feel like I've been MIA all weekend and missed a lot. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
How far along are you? 25+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I have been in a funk lately and I'm ready for it to be done. Rave: Coffee. Symptoms: RLP, shitty sleep, ragey/moody.
Questions? Is anyone else feeling more ragey, anxious or moody all of a sudden? I feel like this was more of a first trimester thing.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? This was a sick question I asked. I would probably say screw the coffee and find another form of caffeine to take it's place. I would hope I never have to make this decision in real life.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Sleep still kind of rough, hip pain.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Well we finally decided on a stroller we like after comparing what we had originally chosen. I just pray someone is willing to get it for us.
Questions? Anyone else's stomach feel smaller around this time. Maybe my baby is just in a different position but for the past two days its just felt not nearly as big.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Well I have pretty much completely cut out coffee while pregnant but I could give up wine considering I don't even drink lol. I don't like the burning sensation or taste of wine very much.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I've got this intense pain/pressure in my middle, upper back, & I can't for the life of me get any relief. I feel like it has to crack, but I can't do it myself. Ugh. I'm uncomfortable. Symptoms: heartburn, having to pee constantly, inability to sleep.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working. Gestating.
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Well, I'd have to say wine since I'm already giving that up for at least 40 weeks, lol. I truly don't think I could function without coffee.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Sleep is iffy but not as terrible as it has been. Mostly just tired and worn out a lot.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Waiting for my tax refund so I can get off amazon what we still need with the discount.
It hit me recently that I could have these babies anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks from now. I've been saying 35 weeks to mentally prepare myself for being pregnant that long but now I'm realizing it will likely be sooner. Average is 32 weeks. The good part is I don't feel like there is a ton left to do. I'm going to start my hospital bag soon, though.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Wine if we are including my caramel iced coffee drink. A little caffeine is essential sometimes with headaches.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mrsschmity I've been in a funk lately, too. Really anxious/depressed. Last week was especially bad for me. I think a lot of it has to do with crazy pregnancy hormones, but also stress with work. And my poor H makes me stabby all the time. Sorry you're struggling with it all as well.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Dr appt today so I'll see hour much weight I've officially gained now. Because my scale says I have definitely gained. Rave: Dr appt so DD and I get to hear the heartbeat! Also, she got to feel the baby kick a couple days ago. Totes adorbs.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Started making one of those measuring charts that looks like a giant ruler.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I'd give up wine. I'm happy to drink beer or cocktails.
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
@mrsschmity I've been in a funk lately, too. Really anxious/depressed. Last week was especially bad for me. I think a lot of it has to do with crazy pregnancy hormones, but also stress with work. And my poor H makes me stabby all the time. Sorry you're struggling with it all as well.
Glad I'm not alone @DeePaddy24. I've been feeling the same way, and I can't put my finger on what's causing it. I have been feeling really good overall through this pregnancy, but the last 4 days or so I'm just really anxious. I have a feeling it's a mixture of still not landing a new job and a little tiff H and I had (which has been over and done with but here I am still thinking about it). I hope your funk ends soon too. Hugs
@mrsschmity - I had a lot of the ragey-ness last week. I am hoping that I have moved past it now. How far along are you? 26 Weeks today
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: None really today but the day is young Rave: My FIL came to our house yesterday to pick up our dogs since they are dogsitting while we go on a short trip this weekend for our anniversary/babymoon. He noticed that we did not have a mattress for our crib yet and asked if we were wanting the one on our amazon list. When I said yes, he said "Consider it done". They have been very helpful with purchasing furniture for the baby and although I get irritated sometimes we are blessed to have them. Also, did I mention anniversary trip/babymoon?! Can't wait for a little getaway (and to eat more than my share of breakfast at the B&B)! Symptoms: I took some Zyrtec so my hives are getting better. It looks like I may be developing an allergy to my progesterone shots so I'm not sure what we can do to alleviate that.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Reading the hypnobabies material to see if it is a good fit/working on a rough copy of a birth plan for my doula.
Questions? Nope
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee! I feel like less of an adult because I HATE coffee. The one time I had it in college, I ended up in the ER so I have some negative feelings surrounding it. I also love wine as much or more than I hate coffee so that helps.
@kbequette08 What stroller did you decide on? @Huskerfanz I'm going to be stalking the June board when it starts to get closer to see birth updates from you. I can't believe it could be that soon! @hockeyfan42 Good luck at the doctor appt today! MeganF08 How nice of your FIL! Happy early anniversary and have a WONDERFUL time on your trip! Where are you guys going?
@mrsschmity - I'm sorry you've been in a funk. Can you treat yourself to something nice (mani/pedi, massage, etc.)?
@deepaddy24 - I feel you on the bladder...I swear I had to go to the bathroom every 15 minutes this weekend.
@Huskerfanz - Holy crap! As early as 2 weeks from now?!? I hope those babies keep cooking! I'm glad you are far along with your planning though.
@hockeyfan42 - What was your DD's reaction to the kick?
How far along are you? 25 w, 5 d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Just tired...couldn't fall asleep until midnight then I was up at 3 am because of a deal at work that is on European time. Guess it is good practice?
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We got our rocker so we'll put that together today. H and I made a list of things we still have to do this weekend...it is loooong. This bathroom remodel has been sucking up all our free time.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Cruel question. I'd pick coffee though. But not today...today might be the first two cup day I've had since getting pregnant.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Symptoms: Pressure down low, sleepy, cranky.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Started putting baby furniture together this weekend....maybe because I had a mini-meltdown about how nothing has been done in the nursery yet. Yay hormones.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Wine. As much as I love wine, I cannot give up coffee.
@mrsschmity Yes on the anxious and moody!! I almost burst
into tears yesterday because my dog wouldn’t stop pacing and it was giving me
an anxiety attack. I felt ridiculous
@Huskerfanz it is crazy when you put it in that context! I
hope your babies wait a little longer before making an appearance, but it is
exciting that you might meet them so soon!
How far along are you? 26 Weeks today!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My dog woke me up this morning by puking in our bedroom. At least I managed to hop out of bed and get him off the good blanket he was standing on firstRave: I get to start organizing all the baby clothes I've bought/have gotten as gifts the last couple of weeks. Symptoms: Still the same back/sciatica pain.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Bought baby friendly detergent so I'm going to start washing some of the clothes I have. Ordered hangers yesterday so hopefully those will come soon and I can start getting crap off the bed in the baby's room. Then furniture pick up, then painting. I still have so much to do and I feel like so little time left. Eek!
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I'd give up coffee first for sure. I went cold turkey on caffeinated coffee this pregnancy and have had a MUCH easier time with that than with giving up the vino.
@DeePaddy24: I feel you on the back pain. I want so bad to crack my back but it's nearly impossible and just doesn't work anymore. Most of my back pain is right in the middle/left area. The only thing that has helped so far (sans medication) is propping a pillow behind my back and really arching out my back. It usually provides some relief. I actually just brought a neck pillow into work to prop up behind me.
How far along are you? 24 weeks today!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: First day back at work and am immediately greeted with a partial penis view on a homeless guy when I came out of the metro station. Welcome back! Rave: Baby is kicking up a storm lately and just saw 3 big kicks. Hope he's making himself comfy in there! We still got 16 weeks buddy! Florida was awesome but it was a long trip and I was ready to get home to my puppy and my bed. Symptoms: Heartburn (probably shouldn't have eaten those 4 cookies last night), random pulls in my lower abdomen, awful left rib and back pain after eating pretty much every meal now. Also, just started getting a lot of RLS or so it seems. I'm constantly needing to stretch out and move my legs. They don't hurt or feel crampy, just feel the need to move them around a lot, which makes sleeping harder.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? This weekend hopefully DH will be ripping up the carpet in the nursery and also looking for a large area rug to replace it. Getting the shower invite list with addresses together for SIL to send out invites. Gestating.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose?I had given up caffeinated coffee a while ago (due to anxiety) and then was completely turned off by the smell of coffee when I got pregnant so that's easy for me. I love wine though and miss it every day.
Me - 33, DH - 33 Married - May 2014 DH - Low Count/Motility/Morph - Varicocele vein x 2 - surgery (8/11) - success! BFP - 10/10/15, EDD - 6/20/16 - It's a BOY! Baby #1 - 6/29/16 - Lucas Christopher, 10 lbs 3 oz, 22.25 inches Baby #2 - TTC May 2017 BFP - 9/10/17, EDD - 5/26/18 - It's a GIRL! - RCS May 22nd
@mrsschmity - We live near Houston so we are driving just a few hours away to a B&B outside of Austin but I can't wait Mostly I just want to sleep and lounge around which I can't usually do at home because there is always work to be done.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: We got together with some friends this weekend who have two little boys, and they are giving us a ton of baby gear! Everything from some bigger furniture to random smaller stuff. They're getting ready to move, so they are happy to get stuff out of the house, and for us it's like Christmas in February. Rant: I got to catch up with a long-distance close friend yesterday who is in the process of IVF. They found out that she is a carrier for a genetic condition that, among other things, makes it unlikely that they will be able to get pregnant. I'm not ranting about anything in particular, just how much it sucks for people who have to go through such a difficult process.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Meeting with our doula tomorrow to draft a birth plan. We had a meeting scheduled for last Friday, and her whole family (except her) came down with strep, so I'm kind of wondering whether she'll be back to working by tomorrow.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Using the past 26 weeks as a guide, I think I would rather give up wine than coffee. I haven't been drinking much coffee during this pregnancy, but every Saturday I get a cup and it's one of the highlights of my week.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: DH is gone for work today - Wednesday so it's just me and DS. With driving him to daycare it's an extra hour total on my commute Symptoms: heartburn as usual. Couldn't get comfortable last night
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Wine. I'm much more of a coffee person!
@mrsschmity - I have definitely been more moody lately. I feel like little things set me off right away (DH too, so it must be sympathy mood swings?) Ex. - we had a fight about a tupperware cover that led to him going into the garage and me going into our room to ugly cry right before our friends came over for dinner. Glorious... @huskerfanz - It's crazy to think you could have them so early! Fingers crossed they keep cooking! @deePaddy24 - hope this week is better for you! @meganf08 - Go FIL! That's awesome! Have fun on your babymoon! @mkemommy - we just got all the stuff for our bathroom remodel... Hoping it goes fast! @chelseay416 - so sorry your dog is sick! That is no fun way to wake up! @bakerbird525 - well, that is quite the welcome back you got this morning! Gotta love it
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I too am a victim of these stupid hormones, thinking about starting a new thread about it. Rave: get to take a half day today because I'm working this weekend. Trying to decide what to do... Symptoms: feeling sore all over. Probably from sitting for five hours straight watching the red carpet and Oscars.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating
Questions?
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Since I'm allergic to wine, I'm going to sub it for beer to be fair. I'd give up beer far quicker than I'd give up coffee. Caffeine and I are besties!
@mrsschmity Sorry to hear
about your funk. Hopefully you are able
to get out of it soon! I have been
feeling more emotional, moody, anxious, and a little sad recently – I still
just attribute it to pregnancy. I don’t
think emotions are confined to that first trimester.
@Huskerfanz It’s crazy to
see 2-12 weeks is a possibility. I can’t believe it could be that soon for you!
Hopefully those babies stay cooking in
there a lot longer!
@MeganF08 Have fun on your
getaway!! Where are you going?
@Hockeyfan42 How exciting for your DD? What did she think?
@BakerBird525 Eek on your
morning view. Welcome back to work
How far along are you? 24

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Nothing yet today
– but it’s Monday so surely there will be something. Rave: H and I both felt
kicks from the outside for the first time yesterday! Also, I fell asleep at like 10:30 last night
and slept HARD until the dogs woke we up at 6.
It was amazing and unexpected!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Figuring
out what we need to do and when.
Questions? Does anyone have favorite
maternity jeans? I am getting squeezed
out of my last regular pair that fits. I got some dress pants from Motherhood
that I like, but for some reason their jeans were not as comfy for me.
GTKY:
If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee.
I like it, but I can usually function without it (but we’ll see if that
changes after June!)
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Mad that I couldn't use the BRU trade in coupon on a car seat base or a mattress yesterday.... Ended up getting our swing instead. Rave:Sorted all the baby clothes from my sister and we are set for for a year! And she had more clothes for past that, we just didn't get them yet.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Names....
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I've already given up both for 9 months, ha! But wine for sure. I'm more of a micro brew beer person anyways! I'll take a good strong Stout over a Chardonnay any day.
@mrsschmity - We live near Houston so we are driving just a few hours away to a B&B outside of Austin but I can't wait Mostly I just want to sleep and lounge around which I can't usually do at home because there is always work to be done.
Have fun! We are in Texas too (College Station) and love the B&Bs in the Austin area and over near Fredricksburg. There are some really pretty views at a lot of them! The weekend we got engaged we were staying in one in a historic house near downtown Austin and it was a really neat one, with fun hosts who cooked a great breakfast!!
@huskerfanz Big props to you for having everything ready already! I haven't even STARTED baby's nursery! Hopefully they'll stay in there for at least 10-12 more weeks for you. @hockeyfan42 I am doing the ruler growth chart, too. Actually, I think I may have stolen that idea from one of your previous posts.
How far along are you? 25+5
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I didn't get on The Bump at all this weekend and missed so much! Rave: Used this morning at work to catch up. Symptoms: terrible heart burn last night, getting more uncomfortable in bed, and still so very hungry all the time.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We have our Bradley class tonight.
Questions? How long did most of y'all swaddle your LOs? Did you keep them swaddled most of the time or just swaddle to sleep? Also, what kind of detergent did you use for baby's clothes? Is DREFT necessary?
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I'd give up wine, but I don't really drink wine. If it was coffee or beer, I'd give up coffee
I have a rant to add & maybe need some advice. There's this one teen boy I work with once a week (when he decides to show up). He isn't on the spectrum but has learning difficulties, so it's basically tutoring instead of him going to high school. At the beginning of the year there was an issue with him playing with himself under the table (I mean full on pants lowered) & taking pictures of female teachers on his iPad. We started having me work with him in a room with another student & the issues went away. Now that other student works in a different room so I'm left with this kid alone again. Not even 20min into the morning I heard his zipper...I've never been so uncomfortable. I instantly went to notify my principal that the it's happening again & that i don't feel comfortable working alone with him. Keep in mind this is the principal I've had a lot of issues with recently. She actually laughed in my face, completely brushed it off, & said I just need to keep him more engaged & he won't do it. Because somehow this is MY fucking fault. How am I supposed to feel comfortable/respected in a school when my principal can't take such a serious issue seriously?! We aren't unionized (it's a private school) so there's no one higher up I can talk to. I've been struggling with how I'll get through the next 3 months already...this morning I had to leave her office fighting back tears, feeling worse than ever here. UGH. Sorry for my long rant.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I second, third, fourth everyone on the hormones. H and I got into a huge fight last night over the fucking dishes. And I'm still annoyed and want to keep yelling at him this morning... but I won't. I'm actually glad to be going to work today, for his sake. Symptoms: Peeing constantly.
Questions? Nada.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I don't like either, so....
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: So uncomfortable from all the sitting/lying down! My butt hurts! Rave: My parents came over yesterday and helped us install the railing on the stairs in the basement. We took off the one that was there when we finished the basement and never bothered to put one back up. But now with all my back pain (plus maybe old age? haha) I need something to help me get up the stairs. Plus we rearranged some furniture in the bedrooms upstairs so we can move our dog's crate out of the nursery and into his new room! Symptoms: Discomfort all around. Lots of BH but I'm thinking I've been slacking on the water.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gestating... Moving stuff around. Finished the registries!
Questions? Anyone getting impatient for their new arrivals? (Despite wanting them to cook as long as possible, obviously!)
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Definitely coffee. The only "coffee" I drink is mostly hot chocolate and whipped cream anyway. Plus I looooooove wine.
@huskerfanz I hope those babies keep baking!! @mrsschmity Sorry to hear that you have been feeling off. I hope things start to look up. @mkemommy Nothing is worse than having a full day of work following an awful night of sleep.
How far along are you? 22+6
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: Weather was beautiful this weekend and took a lovely walk on Lake Michigan Saturday. Rant: DH asked me this weekend if I have been drinking coffee while I have been pregnant and I said yes, a couple times a week...at which point he informed me that a coworker of his had completely given it up...I said good for her with my best if you speak again I will kill you face. Symptoms: Some RLP this weekend. Nothing too crazy
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Washed all the baby clothes this weekend and loved every minute of it!
Questions? none today
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I would give up wine no problem...generally gives me heartburn and a headache. As noted above, my survival to iffy sleep and general exhaustion has been coffee.
@deepaddy24 - What the hell?!? This isn't a young kid, this is a teenager who is clearly jacking off to you in your classroom. OF COURSE you are going to feel uncomfortable. Can you call his parents in for an emergency conference? Have you spoken to the boy about it? Is there a HR you can speak with even though your boss is the only "higher up" technically? Can you switch with another male teacher?
@egirl1025 - Ha! I've had coffee every day of this pregnancy after the first trimester. Caffeine in moderation is ok so why wouldn't I and why wouldn't you? My H asks me questions like that too on occasion (i.e., not really questions but "my friend said you should do X while pregnant"). It usually doesn't end well for him.
I have a rant to add & maybe need some advice. There's this one teen boy I work with once a week (when he decides to show up). He isn't on the spectrum but has learning difficulties, so it's basically tutoring instead of him going to high school. Are you kidding me? A student is exposing himself to you and your Principal laughed about it? That's awful and I would look to see who next to talk to. No way should you be forced to deal with that. Why, given his history, is he not working with a male teacher? I know that wouldn't necessarily solve the problem, but it sure as F could take some of the threat away, no? I'm SO sorry you are dealing with this. I am shocked!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I'm feeling a little nauseous this morning, but it's not too bad! Rave: My husband and I have been feeling the baby moving and kicking like crazy lately, and it's just such an amazing feeling for both of us.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We'll be painting the nursery in the coming week, and our crib and dresser will arrive in about two weeks. We also just bought some closet organizer's for the baby's closet
GTKY: That's easy... wine. I've never liked wine, but I do love my coffee and I've really missed it throughout my pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: It's been almost four weeks since my amnio. No micro-array results yet. Rave: Meh - I got nothin' Symptoms: nothing new to report.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? zilch. I feel like we're all in a funk today, yes?
Questions? Anyone else have micro-array experience? I was told 2-3 weeks for results. I feel like this is one of the last major hurdles to get over before I can relax about this little guy's health...
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee. You didn't even have to finish typing beyond "If you had to give up wine or..." The answer is always the other one.
I had originally wanted a travel system but my husband and I really liked the idea of a good jogging stroller so we registered for a Baby Trend Expedition FX Jogging Stroller and just a separate carseat. Might see if there are any good used carseats that are in good condition. The stroller is very easy to maneuver and compact and I like that.

That's absolutely unacceptable. It's private, who are the owners? I would put it in writing, send an email and make sure the Principal and the other administrators are on the email. I'd also notify the parents separately to make sure they are aware. In public school they don't advise us to ever be one on one alone with a student in our classroom, much less with a student of the opposite sex. I would be livid and I totally get how you feel, you have every right to feel that way. But you need to stand your ground and you need to do it soon because you never know what this kid will go home and say to someone else about the situation.
How far along are you?: 26 weeks today!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:rants- starting to get uncomfortable sleeping. Also, I'm still pretty upset about my glucose incident friday and I'm really nervous about thursday because I'm scared I won't keep the stupid juice down again. Rave- none today. Symptoms- the nausea is coming back. I don't understand why but it's ridiculous. Also, she's got a pretty funny personality. This morning there was a 3am dance party in my belly that I wasn't invited to.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? room is painted and we're getting furniture this month (March). Also, her chandelier should be up tomorrow. I'm debating paying for the labor class at the hospital.
Questions? Has anyone done classes through BRU? Are they any good?
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee. I love wine too much. Though on second thought we've given up for 10 months...what's another two?
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: sleeplessness and so much moodiness. @mrsschmity I thought so too, but apparently, not so much.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Not killing my DH.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee/ caffeine. It's actually already been almost a year and will be by June. Wine though... Uh uh. Gimme.
@DeePaddy24 - I agree with PP, I would definitely get parents involved. Would your principal think that's okay if he was doing it to other students? Completely unacceptable and gross! So sorry you have to deal with that and that the principal thinks that's something to laugh over.
ETA: took out higher ups. Sorry for missing that part on the first post!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I cannot get comfortable to sleep. I know we're supposed to be sleeping on our sides, but I cannot do it, it feels like my belly is pulling away from my body when i sleep on my side, despite having a snoogle & propping a smaller throw pillow under my tummy- I feel like its too much pressure/pulling weight and it doesn't feel healthy so I am sleeping on my back. Is anyone else having this feeling??
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I ordered 6 maternity dresses from Asos Maternity today (6 dresses for $250!!) ... so does dressing baby's mama well count? If not, gestating... working! Trying not to eat all the crap that I ate over the weekend... I need a detox of junk food.
Questions? See above - anyone else having this lovely symptom when side laying?
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? This is really hard because I've given up both during the pregnancy (I was a coffee addict but it made me nauseous in the first tri so I gave it up & haven't reintroduced it since.) I have been doing pretty well not really craving any wine... though I do miss the ability to have a glass and relax... the thought of the acidity of it right now with my heartburn is off putting. I guess the one thats been harder for me not to have has been wine so I'll give up coffee for a year... begrudgingly!
@DeePaddy24 That is terrible and I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Truthfully - if he's a teenager, can't the police be involved because that is like a sex crime? If he was doing it in public on a bus or something he'd be arrested, this should be no different! I'm so so sorry I would be so uncomfortable and I bet you are. Other posters are correct PUT IT IN WRITING to your principal how uncomfortable you are and request that there always be another teacher or student in there with you given the situation. If it is in writing it is a lot more difficult for her to brush off.

Yes On the side sleeping! I thought it was only me but yes I always feel a pulling sensation even though my stomach isn't huge I feel like it all gets squished when laying down and laying on my left side is so painful I have to sleep on my right which I'm hoping isn't harmful to baby.
Re: Monday Check-In
How far along are you?
25+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I have been in a funk lately and I'm ready for it to be done.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
I've got this intense pain/pressure in my middle, upper back, & I can't for the life of me get any relief.

How far along are you? 26 Weeks today
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: None really today but the day is young
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Reading the hypnobabies material to see if it is a good fit/working on a rough copy of a birth plan for my doula.
Questions? Nope
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee! I feel like less of an adult because I HATE coffee. The one time I had it in college, I ended up in the ER so I have some negative feelings surrounding it. I also love wine as much or more than I hate coffee so that helps.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Symptoms: Pressure down low, sleepy, cranky.
I almost burst into tears yesterday because my dog wouldn’t stop pacing and it was giving me an anxiety attack. I felt ridiculous
@Huskerfanz it is crazy when you put it in that context! I hope your babies wait a little longer before making an appearance, but it is exciting that you might meet them so soon!
How far along are you? 26 Weeks today!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My dog woke me up this morning by puking in our bedroom. At least I managed to hop out of bed and get him off the good blanket he was standing on first Rave: I get to start organizing all the baby clothes I've bought/have gotten as gifts the last couple of weeks.
Gestating.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? I had given up caffeinated coffee a while ago (due to anxiety) and then was completely turned off by the smell of coffee when I got pregnant so that's easy for me. I love wine though and miss it every day.

My Chart
@crdo Hormones suck. Enough said.
With driving him to daycare it's an extra hour total on my commute
@mrsschmity Sorry to hear about your funk. Hopefully you are able to get out of it soon! I have been feeling more emotional, moody, anxious, and a little sad recently – I still just attribute it to pregnancy. I don’t think emotions are confined to that first trimester.
@kbequette08 Which stroller did you choose?
@Huskerfanz It’s crazy to see 2-12 weeks is a possibility. I can’t believe it could be that soon for you! Hopefully those babies stay cooking in there a lot longer!
@MeganF08 Have fun on your getaway!! Where are you going?
@Hockeyfan42 How exciting for your DD? What did she think?
@BakerBird525 Eek on your morning view. Welcome back to work
How far along are you? 24 + 3
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Nothing yet today – but it’s Monday so surely there will be something. Rave: H and I both felt kicks from the outside for the first time yesterday! Also, I fell asleep at like 10:30 last night and slept HARD until the dogs woke we up at 6. It was amazing and unexpected!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Figuring out what we need to do and when.
Questions? Does anyone have favorite maternity jeans? I am getting squeezed out of my last regular pair that fits. I got some dress pants from Motherhood that I like, but for some reason their jeans were not as comfy for me.
GTKY: If you had to give up wine or coffee for one year, which would you choose? Coffee. I like it, but I can usually function without it (but we’ll see if that changes after June!)
24+5
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Mad that I couldn't use the BRU trade in coupon on a car seat base or a mattress yesterday....

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: So uncomfortable from all the sitting/lying down!
@mrsschmity Sorry to hear that you have been feeling off. I hope things start to look up.
@mkemommy Nothing is worse than having a full day of work following an awful night of sleep.
How far along are you? 22+6
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rave: Weather was beautiful this weekend and took a lovely walk on Lake Michigan Saturday.

Uh uh. Gimme.
ETA: took out higher ups. Sorry for missing that part on the first post!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I cannot get comfortable to sleep.
