I just got the call saying our Harmony results came back normal! I hadn't realized how stressed I had been waiting for the results until I started sobbing big, ugly sobs of relief immediately upon finding out. We're team green but the doc also reassured me that it's either a boy or girl, so that's always good! 

I am soooo ready to finally let the cat out the bag and wear my bump/blump loud & proud!!!!

Hooray! Congrats on the good results, @Mamafesto ! We are planning on going public after our 12 week appointment which is now less than a week away and I can't wait! So tired of hiding this blump (or trying to anyway) and ready to just celebrate what is happening!

@Sporty1216, we're just calling/telling people as we go along. Not big on sharing with the Facebook world, but all of our the friends, colleagues, and acquaintances that we see regularly will know over the next few days. I'm most excited about telling DS tonight when DP gets home from work. It's still a pretty abstract concept for a 3-year-old, but a bunch of his little friends have had baby siblings recently, so I think he'll at least be excited about the idea of being a big brother!

Congratulations☺. Let us know how DS reacts, my 3 year old is so concerned about the baby.... The other day she had to sneeze and ran off shouting "oh oh I don't want to sneeze on the baby.".

Yay!! So happy for you!! It's such a wonderful feeling to finally put it all out in the open. Just in the last week I've had a ton of people say that my bump is so noticeable so I really don't think I could've waited any longer.

That's so wonderful! Congratulations!!!

We didn't do any sort of formal reveal, in part because I wasn't comfortable letting everyone know for a long time, and in part because DH and I both have a "fly under the radar" type of personality. We just told people gradually - first immediate family, then close friends, then extended family. I waited until >20 weeks to tell work. There are plenty of people who still don't know, but I think the news will trickle out eventually.

DS was super excited and is already referring to it as "my baby." He asked if DP was going to be the baby's brother too, which was pretty funny. He's been patting and poking my belly saying there's a baby in there. Its super sweet and at the same time makes me sappy about how quickly my first baby is growing up.

My nephew was super disappointed when he found out he wasn't going to meet the baby until late July. It's cute that he's anxious to meet her.  -- I love that your son calls yours "my baby."

So glad to hear this. So happy for you. 
I didn't realize how concerned I was until I was holding my breath as the doctor talked about risks, percentages etc.
