Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Yesterday I had my 24 week checkup. At the hospital I go to, sometimes they have you go straight back to an open room if there is one so you don't have to wait in the waiting room. Cool idea in theory, except the days they do that you have to weigh yourself instead of a nurse. Normally when the nurse weighs me I just don't look, but since I had to do it myself yesterday I got overly sensitive about the amount of weight I gained since my last appt. I was concerned since I've been working out and eating the same, but doc said my body was just catching up from not gaining during the first tri and baby probably went through a big growth spurt. I need to get the fuck over gaining weight.
Rave: Baby is still growing strong and healthy! HB was 147 and he/she was very active yesterday during my appt. Apparently my glucose test isn't until my 28 week appt, so I didn't have to do it yesterday.
Symptoms: Other than this growing belly, my symptoms are pretty much the same from day to day - RLP, sore feet/hips, crappy sleep, peeing all the time.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I was 15 and worked at Ace Hardware. The store I worked at sold bait (minnows, worms, etc) and I was dubbed the best bait girl because I always gave the fishermen extra minnows for fishing. Probs one of my favorite jobs ever lol
@tjenkins528 H left for work about an hour ago and I couldn't fall back asleep. Is it pathetic that our dog is still passed out in OUR bed, under the blankets while I'm wide awake watching the news? Something is wrong with this picture.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I was up every hour last night Rave: I have lots of yummy food to get me through the day Symptoms: I can't complain too much no heartburn or RLP so far
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Gave H the top 1000 names from SSA last night to go through....he didn't pick a single one out of the list. How in the world does he think we're gonna name our kid if he hates every name!!
Questions? None yet today
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? When I turned 16 I worked at Aeropostale and thought it was the best thing ever because I got discounted clothes lol
@mrsschmity That's awesome that your appointment went well!!! I'm having a hard time with the number on the scale as well. I didn't think it would bother me because logically I know I have to gain weight but it's surprisingly hard
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: rant: the heartburn has started. It burnnnssss. Rave: I love that she moves. My paranoia makes me crazy and I feel so reassured when she's active. Symptoms: Some more RLP (see questions) and heartburn which is also reassuring but for my family, not for me (Hispanic grandparents SWEAR that heartburn-hair so my grandmother was already telling me the baby would be bald)
What are you doing to prepare for baby? My SIL is a mother-baby nurse at another hospital and brought us over a little hat she'd made with a bow, that was exciting! But aside from that, Hubby is hanging up her wall art this week and hopefully she'll have a dresser soon. Yay for organization!
Questions? Does RLP last forever???
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? My parents have owned learning centers since I was a little girl, so my first job was as an after-school counselor there. Not really a surprise that I became a teacher lol
You're not alone! I'm up too and it's my day off. How far along are you? 21+6 Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: so back when I was 5 weeks, I fainted while shadowing foe a job, which I now have, went to the ed, found out I was definitely pregnant, but didn't immediately tell my future employers, who tells anyone at 5 week? Yesterday, my new boss, who is horrible and lazy, told a room full of coworkers, not in front of me "she lied about her pregnancy". Mind you, she just started at the end of December because she was out on maternity leave with her first. I hate her, and not just for that comment l. Rave: I don't have to work today. Symptoms: not much yet today. Constantly have to pee, my nose is always stuffed up and bloody when I blow it.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I ordered my crib on sunday, it'll be here Friday. Questions?
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? First on the books job, was a summer, I was 14 and worked with janitors at a local elementary school. It was actually fun, I didn't do anything gross.
@MrsB8214 I hear ya sister. In my head I know the weight gain is good, but for whatever reason seeing a 7 pound gain in 4 weeks threw me for a loop. Yay for no heartburn or RLP!! FX it stays that way.
@mrsmartinez16 I am convinced that the RLP will never go away. Ever. @mar101483 Your new boss is a twatwaffle.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I slept so well until 2am, & then I was up every half our (give or take). Of course I then fell back into a deep sleep just before my alarm went off. I AM SO TIRED! Rave: I'm wearing a new shirt + cardigan to work today. They both make me happy. That's really all I've got in the rave department today, lol. Symptoms: RLP, headache, heartburn.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Growing.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I started babysitting when I was 12 or 13. Aside from that, my first real job was at Tim Horton's.
@mrsschmity damn you're up early! Glad your appointment went well, don't be self conscious about weight gain, most of it is baby and their accessories (amniotic fluid, placenta, increased blood volume, increased uterus muscles etc). I think out of an average gain of 25 lbs, only 6 of that is actual weight on you.
@tjenkins528 woo for a heartburn free night. I think I finally figured out my main trigger foods myself and have been able to not die of heartburn every night.
@MrsB8214 how can he not like ANY names on the top 1000?? Not a single one?
@mar101483 ditto that your boss is a twatwaffle. That sucks bad
How far along are you?

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant - H has to work late tonight and will likely have to work late all week. I appreciate everything he does for work to get ahead/make more $$ but sometimes it sucks to be alone for dinner.
Rave - convinced the ILs we didn't need the more expensive crib they wanted to get us so they offered to help out with a glider too since they had planned to spend more than they ended up spending. Woo
Symptoms - as I was writing this I totally peed myself a little when I sneezed. Great start to the day.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Waiting for the crib to ship and finishing up her blanket. Almost done, and with H coming home late I may be able to power through and finish it tonight.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had?
I worked as a counselor at a day camp starting at 15. As bad as the owners could be, I absolutely loved that job.
@tjenkins528 I was about to hit snooze for the 4th time when I finally got out of bed this am - oops @mrsschmityI feel the same way about the weight gain. When you're accustomed to a regular workout schedule and stable weight it's hard to see the scale creep up so much every month even though I know it's an absolute necessity
How far along are you? 22 + 6
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: I slept well but feel like I need another 10 hours of sleep. I really don't feel like being in meetings ALL DAMN DAY! Rave: my support belt is supposed to be delivered today Rave#2: the kids Hanukah placement (on clearance) finally became available again at Pottery Barn so I ordered one to complete my set of 6 as well as a cute kids table runner. This is funny because I don't have a kid yet, let alone 6. But I feel so prepared lol
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Ran out of mini eggs. Searching for a new phone plan. I'm over AT&T
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I started babysitting when I was 12ish. First real job was as a server at Perkins
@DeePaddy24 I miss Tim Horton's. I used to stop there on my way to work every day. I especially miss roll up the rim to win - even though I never really won anything exciting lol
@DeePaddy24 Yay for new clothes New clothes always make me happy! @Sgoldberg247 Thanks for the reassurance on the weight gain. I need to get that through my thick head. Make sure you post pictures of the blanket after you finish!! @cdnrunning Ditto on the sleep, and that's exactly how I'm feeling in regards to the weight gain. Hope you find a new phone plan you like! H and I have Verizon - a bit more expensive than some of the others, but totally worth it in terms of service.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Nothing out of the ordinary, just getting substantially larger. I was enjoying the cute baby bump, but I don't think I was fully prepared for the fact that I would keep growing
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Our goal for this week is to narrow down a few options for pediatricians, and then to see if those options do consultations or have references available.
Questions? None today.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Bussing tables in my dad's restaurant. I was so excited when I was old enough to graduate from bussing to waitressing.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant....just having weird dreams and tossing and turning all night every night. Rave - I think I felt him kicking yesterday for the first time! I hope today is more of that so I can be sure.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We are getting a shipment of nursery decor my mom bought sometime this week so I can start putting stuff together
Questions? Nope
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I delivered newspapers when I was younger door to door hated it in the winter. Took over the route from my sister when she moved on to working in the local mall.
@mrsschmity - I weigh myself once a week (to make sure that I can keep eating bagels and cookies without feeling too guilty) and slowly watching the number creep up seems wrong, but I know it's okay. This whole being pregnant thing is weird. And maybe I should stop eating bagels and cookies...
@MrsB8214 - Wow, no names at all? That's... impressive. And very very frustrating for you.
@mar101483 - I don't even know how to respond to that. She sucks.
@DeePaddy24 - Good luck finishing it up! Pictures when it's done, please!
How far along are you? 22w5d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: So.flippin.tired. Rant: Work sucks this week and I am ready for Friday. Rave: ... Can't think of anything today.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Not a thing. I think I've reached the max that can be done without a house and while living in another city.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? babysitting cousins when I was 13-ish, but my first really job was working at Bruegger's Bagels for 2 years in high school. That started my unhealthy addiction to bagels.
@mrsschmity a lot of companies are making it very attractive to switch. We're open to anything right now. I'll go price them out this weekend. It's kind of crazy to think what we spend on phones these days.....
mar101483 put it in the Twattwaffle Tuesday Burn Book, Sista!
MrsB8214 They're all the same! The only reason my baby has a name is because DH picked it when we were engaged and then told all of his friends they weren't allowed to use it LOL!
@mrsschmity That's torturous that they make you weigh yourself...I couldn't do it. You're a better woman than me.
Sgoldberg247 Your in laws deserve a huge hug! That's two VERY BIG purchases they're making...what a blessing!
mar101483 - Wow, I really don't get some people. It's sad that people at work don't treat pregnant employees with more respect and more of a nuisance. I have a coworker that dwells on my maternity leave, it's 12 weeks, get over it you'll survive with a little extra work. Yes we're pregnant, but we are still people with feelings.
@Kballew10- I'm in the same boat...it should seriously be Thursday not Tuesday. This past weekend flew by in the blink of an eye. Didn't even feel like I got to enjoy it or relax.
@Shanna2016 - Feeling the first kick is always so exciting! It helps with the constant paranoia, too, when you can feel them moving and knowing they're ok.
@annaf2011 - I feel ya on being excited to get a bump, but then it just keeps growing! I don't know how I'm going to get much bigger! Hard to imagine he's going to be growing half a pound each week now.....I don't know how much more my belly can stretch!
How far along are you? 22+1
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant-I'm exhausted today....and really don't feel like working. I actually broke down and got half a cup of coffee. Rave- I actually got sleep last night with just one wake up to pee (I haven't slept in WEEKS) I made myself a little pillow nest and it helped so much. Symptoms- Achy....things I never imagined would/could ache, ache.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Slowly cleaning out his room when I have the energy. My parents bought the crib (great thing about the gift manager on BRU registry lol) Can't wait to get it and put it together!
Questions?
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I was a groom and helped around my trainer's farm when I was 12 or 13...then my first OFFICIAL job was Chick-Fil-A
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: S: RLP, hip and back soreness, but baby kicks make it all ok.
Rave: Guilty pleasure Pretty Little Liars night.
Rant: Last night when I got in bed, my brain decided to go to nanny/daycare land. Cue hand-wringing panic about the idea of handing my 3 month old off to someone else to care for, even though I know we will go through all the right steps to vet a nanny. How the eff do you do that? Scares the crap out of me, though financially it doesn't make sense for me to be a SAHM.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Eh.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I taught dance classes at the studio where I was a student. One class was 2 year old creative movement, and I hated it. So sue me.
@mrsschmity - I'm right there with you and weight gain stress. Today is my weigh in day (I weigh myself once a week). I think I'm stopping that habit. This week I was 2lb up. There seems to be no end to it.
@MrsB8214 - I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. At this point, I think he is just being contrary to be contrary about names. There is no way you can't find one name you even possibly like in a list of a 1,000.
@sgoldberg247 - Whoo hooo for in-laws willing to compromise!!!
@deepaddy24 - Sorry about the sporadic sleep after 2.
How far along are you? 24 w, 6 d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Weight gain. My doctor told me to shoot for 1lb a week. I'm up 2 this week. I didn't gain any last week so maybe that is making up for it? I don't know but I'm going to be over the 30-35 lb recommended at this point. Rave: I'm starting to not care as much about weight gain. It used to put me in a tizzy every week...now I see the number and I feel a bit of indifference. My body is fucking nuts so what am I supposed to do other than eat right and work out.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Hopefully the glider comes soon...I ordered it.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Babysitter. On a payroll, the first job I had was at Walgreens as a clerk.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: RLP, heart burn, ragey. Still feeling MEH.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Ate too much ice cream yesterday.
Questions? NONE
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Like a W2 type job? I was a 16yo pharmacy tech at Walgreens... Can you believe they used to allow that? Eek!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: More sleep issues. Restless legs plus lower back pain last night. And having to pee 4 times.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Waiting for my tax refund so I can use my amazon completion discount GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Other than babysitting, working at a Dairy Queen type place that has better food and ice cream. We could eat whatever we wanted while working which was so dangerous.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mar101483 In what context did that comment even come up? Ugh, I have no words for her.
@Shanna2016 I'm with you on the weird dreams. Last night I dreamed I adopted a baby and his eye was messed up because he got some deodorant in it and although he was a newborn, he didn't fit in his car seat because he was so huge...
How far along are you? 24+6
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: No rants or raves this morning, feeling blah. Symptoms: heartburn, restless at night, and the gag/dry heave monster returned this morning.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing today. Trying to make better eating choices... usually.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I babysat A LOT when I was like 12 through 14 but my first REAL job was working at CVS as a photo technician
@mrsschmity I have an appointment today and I'm super nervous to see how much I've gained. It's so hard not to panic over it.
@mar101483 my boss keeps calling my pregnancy my "situation." Your boss sounds 8 million times worse. Yuck.
@mrsmartinez16 I feel you on the heartburn. It's the worst.
How far along are you? 25+1
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I don't know if this is a rant or a rave. My coworker finally came back to work yesterday. She's still being a bit of a brat and things are really tense between her and my boss so work is awkward. But at least she's back to take the load off. Actual rave - I have an appointment today! Excited to hear the LOs heartbeat. I'm glad baby movement is a thing now. It seems to ease my anxiety between and before appointments. Symptoms - Heartburn. Also I've been having some really bad knee pain. I injured it in volleyball back in high school so I'm not sure if the added strain on my body is making it act up again or what.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? My current job is the first job I ever had. My parents didn't want me working in high school, but a few months after I graduated I got hired at the insurance office as a receptionist, answering phones, filing.... and now 5 years later I'm still there. I just sell the insurance now.
@dennyandlee apparently my boss was talking with another peer about how myself and my friend were going to be off orientation next week and basically saying that were happy they get to do absolutely nothing now (just guessing here, but they are so lazy) and someone working at my clinic said "until she goes on maternity leave in the summer" . Then my boss made her comment and didn't say anything else. Screw her, I told them my 2nd week working there I was prego and she was still on maternity leave.
@mrsschmity I hear you on the scale battle. It's so hard to watch the numbers go up rather than down... But like @Sgoldberg247 said, baby has a lotta stuff and that is unavoidable. @SGoldberg247 can't wait to see your finished quilt!
How far along are you? 23w3d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Today is a no lifting day, so I know I have to get up at 4:30 tomorrow. Makes me tired to think about it. Rave: I get to go meet my friend's new baby today! Symptoms: hungry all the time, but too full to eat. Peeing every 5 minutes.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to exercise more regularly. Also, circling a few projects. I like to think a lot before I start.
Questions? Anyone have ideas on what gift to bring to the hospital when meeting a friend's new baby? She has more clothes than she needs. I'm trying to think of something more for her.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? At 16, I worked for MCI telemarketing briefly. It was horrid and I quit after a few weeks. My first real job was at a local greenhouse during the summer. Loved it!
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
I really enjoy my actual job, but I'll probably leave after the baby is born. I want to go to another clinic, for the same company, but my clinic is a specialty one and very few people are trained to work it, so they probably won't let me go to another. Also, on a side note, we are RNs and my "boss" had a baby with a former patient, that's a huge no, no. Nurses are not suppose to have relationships with their patients.
Questions? Anyone have ideas on what gift to bring to the hospital when meeting a friend's new baby? She has more clothes than she needs. I'm trying to think of something more for her.
Will you be seeing her at home at all? I try to bring gifts to their house so it's one less thing to bring home from the hospital. Otherwise, diapers, wipes, FOOD, personalized blanket or something.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mrsschmity Try not to focus too much on the weight. Most of it is not actually you! Plus from what I've read, if you have to gain too much vs. gain too little, gaining too much is better for the baby than gaining too little.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: DH has a serious man cold. He complains SO MUCH for a man that doesn't dish out much sympathy to others *cough*me*cough* Rave: My friend/coworker that was 3 months ahead of me had her baby on Friday and I got to go meet her last night. She is so tiny and adorable and it made me very impatient for my own baby (despite wanting to cook him/her as long as possible!). I got to her house and was like, "I have so many questions..." lol.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Crocheting, gestating.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Off the books I babysat and worked in a small cafe, my first official job was at the Bulk Barn. It was awesome!
@mkemommy I think he's just being a butthead and not trying. He says we have so much time but my Type A personality says we don't. Plus what if he comes early!! Also I think a big problem was he started from the bottom so he kept making fun of the ridiculous names. He should've started at the top with the more normal names.
@dennyandlee I should've been more clear I meant I haven't had any heartburn or RLP today (although that didn't really make sense because it was like 7am when I said that ha)
Questions? Anyone have ideas on what gift to bring to the hospital when meeting a friend's new baby? She has more clothes than she needs. I'm trying to think of something more for her.
Does she have a drink of choice? I'm hoping when people come to visit they'll bring wine or champagne
@Huskerfanz Yes! I'll probably be over there helping out while H is gone 2/28-3/10. I am kicking myself for not thinking ahead. I thought about a giftcard to her favorite restaurant...
@mrsmartinez16 Indeed. We both love a good cab sav! Good idea!
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
@mar101483 your boss sounds like a bitch. Sorry you’re
dealing with that. I’ve never heard of someone telling an employer at 5 weeks.
@Kballew10 No reason to stop eating bagels and cookies haha.
I’m right there with you on that. Also, there was a Bruegger’s bagels on the
first floor of my apartment building my senior year in college – it saved me
from awful hangovers and so many different occasions.
How far along are you? 25w1d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: Had a nightmare last night that I was shot in the back and couldn't find any EMTs or doctors to tell me if my baby was still okay. I've been sitting here waiting to feel movement to reassure myself. Also, we were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow last night... we are already at 8 and it is still falling. GRR Rave: I passed my glucose test! Can't remember if I mentioned that on yesterday's check-in. Symptoms: My sciatic (or when I googled it yesterday it might be pelvic girdle pain) hurts so bad that sometimes I literally feel like I need to collapse. I think it is from the 3 1/2 hour flights to and from florida sitting in the crappy airplane seats, but I wish it would go away. Thank god for my recliner and a few good books.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Need to unpack the stuff I got at my shower. I managed to fit it all in the extra space in my suitcase (except for the changing pad someone got me). Also got some gift cards so online shopping here i come.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I worked at Hollister when I was 16-18. I absolutely loved it except on black fridays.
@Huskerfanz Yes! I'll probably be over there helping out while H is gone 2/28-3/10. I am kicking myself for not thinking ahead. I thought about a giftcard to her favorite restaurant.
She'll appreciate it no matter when or what you decide on!
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mrsschmity that's frustrating about the scale issue. I usually don't look at the scale (my eating disorder past) but then I'll occasionally be in unique situations where the nurse will shout it out or something- always bugs me. @mar101483 That is brutal about your boss. What a jerk. @Sgoldberg247 My hubs is also working late tonight. I think my daughter and I might hit up starbucks for unhealthy and overpriced food offerings. It's right down the street and would be a treat. I also am very grateful for my husband's job but yes, nights alone are never fun. @annaP2011 I also used to be a busser! Once I moved up in the world from that, I always appreciated every other job. And I always try to take my plates to the counter when I'm at a coffee shop!
How far along are you? 22w3d- baby kicking a ton at this very moment. Calm down, man!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rave: No heartburn or nausea right now so that's always cause for joy. Rave: After my week with pink eye and a sore throat, I'm feeling so capable this week!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? My daughter agreed today that it would be a good idea to move to a big girl bed. Prior to that, she's always just thought we were silly for suggesting it.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Bussing and dishwashing at a local cafe. It was really stressful and my managers were mostly jerks. After that, I worked at an adorable family-owned ice cream shop where we made our own ice cream daily (I even got to invent flavours)- that was a way better high school job.
@hockeyfan42 My first suggestion is always food! Either a gift card to a restaurant (that delivers or has take out) or freezer meals. I just made my friend a batch of M&M lactation cookies because I know she is trying to breastfeed. (Also, I may have missed a day or two on here... How is your dad doing?)
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: RANT/Symptoms: Last night I was woken up by a shooting pain on my left side, did not feel like the RLP that I've experienced, it almost felt like 1 isolated muscle or something spasm-ing - I was asleep on my right side when it happened so I rolled to my back and it went away after a few minutes, I slept on my left side after that but I couldn't fall asleep until I felt the baby kick so I knew everything was ok, then I laid in bed for way too long this morning feeling baby kicks just to reassure myself. Rave: I feel good about my registry and I'm ready for people to see it now, my mother in law called DH last night worried that there wouldn't be anything on the registry for her to buy since my sister bought our crib and we bought our glider, I told her not to worry there's a million things we need still so she was going to call my mom this week to discuss what each was planning to buy - that's exciting to me!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Per the above finalized the registry! Got the crib & glider this week, making progress!! Have to convince DH that we have to clean out the nursery... that will not be fun.
Questions? Anyone have any recommendations on the BEST baby monitor?
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? I can't recall which job came first. I was an ice cream scooper at "Ice Cream Alley" in the summers, I still remember how much I loved "White Chocolate Hazlenut Crunch" ice cream and I definitely had my share of it while working... the same year during the school year I worked as a cashier at our local Hallmark store. I definitely applied for and got that job only because I had SUCH a crush on an older guy in school that worked there and I wanted to spend more time with him... it worked

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: so back when I was 5 weeks, I fainted while shadowing foe a job, which I now have, went to the ed, found out I was definitely pregnant, but didn't immediately tell my future employers, who tells anyone at 5 week?
@mrsmartinez16 I am convinced that the RLP will never go away. Ever.
@mar101483 Your new boss is a twatwaffle.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I slept so well until 2am, & then I was up every half our (give or take).

What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Waiting for the crib to ship and finishing up her blanket. Almost done, and with H coming home late I may be able to power through and finish it tonight.
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had?
@mrsschmityI feel the same way about the weight gain. When you're accustomed to a regular workout schedule and stable weight it's hard to see the scale creep up so much every month even though I know it's an absolute necessity

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: I slept well but feel like I need another 10 hours of sleep. I really don't feel like being in meetings ALL DAMN DAY!
Rave: my support belt is supposed to be delivered today
Rave#2: the kids Hanukah placement (on clearance) finally became available again at Pottery Barn so I ordered one to complete my set of 6 as well as a cute kids table runner.

@MrsB8214 - Wow, no names at all? That's... impressive. And very very frustrating for you.
@mar101483 - I don't even know how to respond to that. She sucks.
@DeePaddy24 - Good luck finishing it up! Pictures when it's done, please!

@Kballew10 - I'm in the same boat...it should seriously be Thursday not Tuesday.
I was a groom and helped around my trainer's farm when I was 12 or 13...then my first OFFICIAL job was Chick-Fil-A
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
S: RLP, hip and back soreness, but baby kicks make it all ok.
So sue me.

Eek!
DST T4L
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: More sleep issues. Restless legs plus lower back pain last night. And having to pee 4 times.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Waiting for my tax refund so I can use my amazon completion discount
GTKY: What was the first job you ever had? Other than babysitting, working at a Dairy Queen type place that has better food and ice cream. We could eat whatever we wanted while working which was so dangerous.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@MrsB8214 No heartburn OR RLP? You lucky duck.

@SGoldberg247 can't wait to see your finished quilt!

Loved it!

@NicknShan Too much ice cream? No comprendo.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: DH has a serious man cold. He complains SO MUCH for a man that doesn't dish out much sympathy to others *cough*me*cough*
Rave: My friend/coworker that was 3 months ahead of me had her baby on Friday and I got to go meet her last night.
@dennyandlee I should've been more clear I meant I haven't had any heartburn or RLP today (although that didn't really make sense because it was like 7am when I said that ha)

@mrsmartinez16 Indeed. We both love a good cab sav! Good idea!
@mar101483 your boss sounds like a bitch. Sorry you’re dealing with that. I’ve never heard of someone telling an employer at 5 weeks.
@Kballew10 No reason to stop eating bagels and cookies haha. I’m right there with you on that. Also, there was a Bruegger’s bagels on the first floor of my apartment building my senior year in college – it saved me from awful hangovers and so many different occasions.
How far along are you? 25w1dRant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant: Had a nightmare last night that I was shot in the back and couldn't find any EMTs or doctors to tell me if my baby was still okay. I've been sitting here waiting to feel movement to reassure myself. Also, we were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow last night... we are already at 8 and it is still falling. GRR
Rave: I passed my glucose test!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rave: No heartburn or nausea right now so that's always cause for joy.
I definitely applied for and got that job only because I had SUCH a crush on an older guy in school that worked there and I wanted to spend more time with him... it worked
