This morning I woke up and had bright red blood running down my legs. I feel no other symptoms, no cramping or pain. I was able to find the baby's heartbeat with my home Doppler and am now on my way to the ER. I am in complete panic. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I am 18 weeks, 4 days.
Sometimes it just happens. Hearing the heartbeat and no cramps is a good thing. Glad you're getting checked out and I hope they can give you answers. Maybe a low placenta?
@Weville@schaze@aimz2377 thank y'all! I'm still waiting to be seen now. The nurse told me not to panic until they can confirm that something is wrong. Easier said than done!
I had the same thing a few weeks ago. Could be if your placenta is touching your cervix or you could have a hematoma (that's what I have). Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping they can figure out what it is quickly!
Thank you everyone! I still don't know what the cause is. I had an ultrasound, but they wouldn't let me look at the screen and the tech wasn't allowed to tell me anything. Very frustrating. Waiting on the Doctor to give me the results now.

Update: after looking at my US photos, the doctor is worried that the baby may have a tumor on his back. There is definitely a mass, but they cannot tell yet whether it is attached to the baby or not. I am going to go to another hospital a couple of hours away that can do a level 2 ultrasound. I am trying to tell myself that everything could still be ok but I am terrified. I won't know anything else for sure until I get to the next hospital. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I will report back when I finally know something else.
My heart is stopping for you I am sending all my good vibes your way and I'm hoping that this works out in the best positive way for you please keep us all posted
