Hi! Quick background:
I was part of this group when we were trying to conceive my daughter. At 40 we did IVF. We implanted two embryos, one split and we conceived triplets. Unfortunately we lost the twins but I gave birth to the singleton six days shy of age 41. She is a happy and healthy almost two year old.
Since her birth we have had two spontaneous pregnancies (RE jargon for we conceived them the old fashioned way). Unfortunately both ended in miscarriage. We went back for our two frozen embryos and both cycles failed (just found out about the second which was our last embryo).
I'm now 42 and will be 43 in two months. The stats for a natural pregnancy are bleak but we would love to have another and give our daughter a sibling.
I am wondering what are other options besides IVF/IUI. We don't have the money for IVF with donor eggs which would give us our best shot. We would like to try on our own but want to boost are chances. I can't remember what the other options are that RE's do...I remember something about timed intercourse? We meet with her on the 9th but was curious if anyone can offer any insights. Thanks!

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

Second, I have heard good things about ICSI with IVF as well as alternative therapies in correlation with IVF. RE's are usually not fond of herbals but will atleast shrug at acupuncture and Mayan Abdominal Massage. Worth a shot? I'm going in next month to restart my acupuncture and consult with a lady on MAM.
