Stupid Question...

When I fill a bottle with 6 ounces of water and then add the appropriate amount of powdered formula the amount in the bottle actually increases to 7 ounces. Would you consider that to be a 6 ounce bottle or a 7 ounce bottle? Is this right? Am I doing something wrong?

I count the initial amount of water, but you could count however it settles after the formula is added. Either way is fine.

I still consider it 6oz, mine always has some froth but it's not much more than 6oz anyway.

I counted it as six ounces as well. Once it settled it was just a bit over but not enough to even say it was 6.5-7 ounces.

Thanks, ladies! Maybe I haven't been letting the bottle sit long enough and have beeooking at foam? I'm a nervous FTM who was previously breastfeeding so thanks for indulging me!

I'm such a ding bat. I just saw on the formula can that each scoop of formula adds 0.2 ounces
