Agree with the cute and so pregnant comments! Seriously, they only thing DH is interested in is my chest.   I don't think he finds pregnant ladies attractive, including his wife.  For the 273737th time, you won't poke your darling son in the damn head.
Can we trade?  Pregnancy seems to be a huuuggeee turn on for H and I just can't keep pace with how often he's been in the mood.
My H is the same way!! The bigger I get the more he wants to bang me and this pregnancy I'm just like "noooooooo"....

  • Jumping in with the sex confessionals. H is all about the sex right now (he loves my currently-up-two-cup-sizes bigger boobs), and I am not really feeling super sexy right now, but I manage. HOWEVER, he likes to really take his time and do tons of foreplay and be super kissy...and...I know I'm supposed to be really into that, but lately, I'd just rather it not take so long.  So the other day when he slipped his arms around me from behind and wanted to do it, I responded, but I took charge and we got straight to business. I'm pretty sure he thought it was hot, like, "Wow, she wants me so bad," but it was more like, "let's get this done."

My hubby has been the same way. He's all lovey-dovey and kissy and I'm just like okay let's get this over with. So not into it lately :/
  • Yes!! I'm glad H isn't the only one super turned on by the preggo body. and the foreplay annoys me. Let's just get it done! Hello, second tri hormones...where have you been for the
    last 12 weeks?!

@MeganF08   I totally and completely agree with you.  Especially after the week I've had.  My sweet fur baby, Javier, has had this lump on his side for a LONG time.  On Wednesday, it started leaking and then Wednesday night it pretty much burst open.  I will spare the details but lets just say it was not pretty.  Yesterday I rushed him to the vet were he had emergency surgery to remove the lump.  My vet says now that the lump is removed he will be okay for several more years (he will be 12 in May and is a Mini Schnauzer).  I am SO glad he's okay.  And even though I have a baby coming, it didn't even occur to me to do anything different.
Glad to hear he is okay!!!

  • After two kids, I've fully given up on tampons. There isn't a tampon big enough to handle this madness anymore. I hate tampons now. Pads for the win.

Hippie it up and use the diva cup! I seriously love mine, although it took a couple tries to get it in position correctly.

Also, why tampon talk? It's been awhile since AF has been around ;)

I've always hated tampons. The only time I use them is for swimming.

    STUCK IN THE DAMN BOX

I fully intend on trying a diva/luna cup when my periods return after this pregnancy. I can't stand pads and have had issues with tampons too. They come highly recommended from a lot of women I know so I have high hopes.

My FFC I just posted on the thread. I have never heard of a melting pot restaurant.

Also @HBMama2B yay for fans of Willamette Valley wineries! (I'm an Oregon  girl:))

I am totally going to try a diva cup. I forgot all about them and I've never used one and I have weird mental images of what it would look like. But I've heard nothing but good things about them! And why tampon talk? A discussion some girls at work were having....
  • Gotcha. I was just thinking that it's been glorious not dealing with PMS and all that crap. If my body responds to BFing the same way this time, it'll still be at least at year until I get another period. Holla!

SO hoping to be in the same boat!!! I love not having to deal with AF and with my DD, mine didn't come back for close to a year. Weeeehaw!

I hate when people talk about loving their pets before they moved/had a baby/got a new job/ got married and now they are just annoyed by them so they are going euthanize/take to the shelter/give away said animal. If you have a flaky enough personality to love a living creature and then just stop because they have become inconvenient, don't get a pet. Also when you got this pet did you not know that you would experience any of these life changes eventually? Or that one day your dog/cat would get old (just like people do) and become more of 'a hassle' to take care of? I can't tell you how many of these posts I see on a daily basis and they drive me insane. Pets are family, if you disagree don't get one.
Oh I hate this so much! My aunt, who is extremely wealthy and rotten, just puts her dogs in the pound when they get too old. "Why should we pay $100 to put them to sleep when the city will do it for free". Ugh!  Meanwhile I spent a small fortune trying to keep my baby alive l, finally put her to sleep, while I held her in my arms and sang to her the song I sang her every day of her life.
Also, my cousin, her son, posted on fb that he was looking for a new home for his Lil 3lb dog, who he had for 10 years, because he has a daughter now. Seriously! These are also the kinda people who still go to seaworld and get new dogs after giving up their older ones. This upsets me so much. Oh, then the b*tch  will post pics of them and say she misses them.

My H has gained weight and it's noticeable and I want to tell him to stop it. But since I ate Frosted Flakes and chips for dinner last night - I feel like he might just laugh in my face. But I still really want him to get skinnier - while I get fatter.
My hubby has gained over 40lbs  since we've started dating. Meanwhile, I've lost well over 40.

  • Lol oh my gosh I just got back to this thread and I love where my confession went!! I cannot stop laughing!!!!! I love you ladies!!
  • I totally read most of that gestational diabetes/glucose test thread yesterday while eating chocolate chips right out of the bag.  My glucose test is in two weeks and I'm so not looking forward to hearing the results. ..
I read it while eating jelly beans.  If I'm going down, I'm going down in flames.
  • I side eyed DH when he brought home a 2 pound container of cheese balls from Sams Club because seriously...who needs that many cheese balls. Confession: between the three of us it is 3/4 of the way gone and it hasn't even been a week. Cheese balls? More like crack balls...

For the record, the cheese balls are in no way related to the excessive farting. Just be clear on that.

Sorry to to inturrupt the sex talk with cheese balls and farting.

All I could think of is the scene from the show Chuck when he's sitting on the couch just eating cheese balls for weeks straight.
  • @HBamama2B You limit Lucky Charms to once per week??? I thought I was doing well limiting myself to once per day

Love my Diva cup! But, I definitely don't miss having to use it! I'd be happy to never use it again! Breast feeding delays our periods right?

Omg! My mother told my H to tell the Dr to stitch me up like a Virgin!  Wtf mom!

  • I fart so much lately. My DD thinks it's the dog half the time and I just go along with her. She will hear it and get this surprised look and say "excuse you, Stevie!!" And I just say "yea, excuse you!" Poor dog...
Too funny! I walk around at work just farting and working. These facts don't have a warning, next thing I know it's just out there. My poor patients! Ha, well maybe not, they fart too, half the time I'm not sure if it's them or me!

  • My fffc, even though it's like 445am on Saturday, is I currently am laying in bed, next to my husband whose snoring has had me up since like 340, and I am tossing and turning and making noises, all in a hope that he'll wake up and go down stairs!

It does in a lot of women. I was about 8-9 months PP when mine came back and I was EBFing. I know some women get it back sooner, some not until baby is completely weaned.

Older docs have actually gotten in trouble for the "husband stitch". They put in an extra unnecessary stitch so you are tight for the hubs, lIke you've never given birth/had sex before...forget any problems it may cause you. True story.
  • Yup. ^that. Major eye roll.
  • And it doesn't necessarily get looser. I think the internal muscles weaken a big and so tampons leak constantly for me now. H has never said anything about it feeling different.

This happened to me (I assume by accident; a young resident did my stitches and I got the impression she had not done it many times before if ever) and it was not cool. Ruined my sex life for several months because it was so painful every time D:
