Testing plans: lets see how long I can hold out. Goal is 10 DPO
R/R/CS: I'm fine I guess...not much going on. Babies and pregnant women everywhere but what else is new.
GTKY: Which shop/store would you like to max-out your credit card in? Hmmm, probably Bloomingdales, Anthropologie, Restoration Hardware (in this order).
@PensiveCrayon thank you for all the suggestions!! My conference is on the strip, but I really want to get off strip this visit! And vintage gaming sounds ah-mazing.
Okay I'm going to answer first, and then go back an comment on stuff 'cause I've been slacking on my Bumping today (WTF is up with the trollz yo?!)
Month/Cycle: 3/3 TTCAL (8m total)
CD/DPO: 22/8 (I still think 22/7 though...stupid shift work right at O time!)
Timing: -5, -3, 0, +1 (or -3, -1, 0, +1)
Testing plans: tomorrow because we're going out and I want a glass of wine if I can
R/R/CS: I had a major temp drop this morning which my brain responded to with, "Well fuck I'm probably out," immediately followed up with, "Maybe it's an implantation dip! Aksjghj...". So that's where my brain is today. Lots of BSC going on over here.
GTKY: Which shop/store would you like to max-out your credit card in?
Testing plans: Would like to wait until 14 dpo, March 1
R/R/CS:Hooray, I got my first set of CH today! I'm so excited but I couldn't tell anyone- so glad I can shout it from the bump rafters, as you are the only people who understand. My chart isn't pretty, so I wasn't sure a temp shift would be seen- but I have been diligent about it the past week and it paid off.
GTKY: Which shop/store would you like to max-out your credit card in? I'm a sucker for Target! I CAN NOT get out of there without spending at least a hundred. So many possibilities!
@houseofsetters - have fun in Orlando! I used "Daredevil" as a nickname for our little angel as I O'd the day we went to Universal Studios and rode all the rides!
@ShallowSeas that sounds like the best/worst dream ever. So awesome in ddreamland and soo disappointing when awake.
FX for you @2Dash I also had nausea in my TWW with my loss, however it was that which caused me to test and get the BFP so I guess that doesn't really count?
@rottiemom86 I'm excited to hear they're doing a women's version! They keep advertising it on Serial (podcast) and I'm intrigued.
@PennStateCait I'm frustrated with FF this month too...though it's more a night shift problem than an FF problem.
@BooksForMe23 welcome! I also hang out on TTCAL sometimes too. Unfortunately, I'm with the others...it looks like you had an LH surge but didn't actually O.
R/R/CS: Late post because today was the longest day ever at work. My temps have been very close to each other the past few days. I hope I get another temp shift (triphasic)
GTKY: Which shop/store would you like to max-out your credit card in? Nordstrom, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, Pottery Barn.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 or 5/5 ish....came of BCP in mid Oct
CD/DPO: 27
Timing: not charting, so not certain...could be good, could be bad. EOD or ED all cycle except for 3 days in the middle...we picked a good time to miss, ugh.
Testing plans: trying to wait until next week when we're on a week off OR after my cousin has her baby (want to be able to say a sincere congratulations and I'm not sure of my ability to do that if I have a BFN first....) But I've been puking a bunch last night/today, so I might cave....but I also had a fever, so it seemed like "regular" sick, not BFP sick...maybe? ugh...just talking about it makes me want to test!
R/R/CS: well, my testing plans turned into a rant, soooo....I'll add one small thing: my skin sucks when I'm off the BCP, so these past few months have not been fun for my face.
GTKY: Which shop/store would you like to max-out your credit card in? Michaels, maybe? I love paper...scrapbooking, cardmaking, etc, and I also love baking, and they have all those crafty type things!

@Kellybean1988- I'd chalk all of the things up to only being off BC since Dec. I would say your chart looks pretty accurate for O on CD 16. I disagree with the possibility of O on CD 20 because you need 3 higher temps than the prev 6 to confirm O and on CD 21 your temp goes up, CD 22 its still high, but on CD 23 it drops back down below CD 20. Also, all of your temps post CD 16 are higher than the before CD 16 temps until yesterday and today. So I think its right. Hang in there, it will take a few months to really start to get it. The biggest things about temping are making sure you are taking temp at same time or as close to as possible every day, yes even if it means setting your alarm clock on the weekends. I had a friend who had been TTC for over 2 years and she started temping in the last 6 months of their 2 years. her charts were all over the place until she started setting her alarm on the weekends. Made a big difference in her charts. and even for some people that have been temping and charting for months, we all have a wonky month here and there. There is no set guaranteed O date for most of us- but a general pattern does usually start to form. And once you figure out your LP length, that will help tremendously too. Definitely hang out here- the veterans of the board know their stuff!
@mrsdee15- I had one super BSC TWW and it was because I hadn't really figured out my LP length yet. After I had a better understanding on how long my LP was, it really made a big difference for me. I knew that NONE of the temps in the TWW really had any significance or impact until I closer too or was on the last few days of the LP. My LP was usually around 12 days or so. So the temps at 6 DPO don't really mean much. Yes, you want them to stay high, but if there is a dip here and there around 8 DPO I wouldn't put too much stock into it because it didn't really have much impact till 12 DPO. if my temps dropped on 12 DPO, and dropped a lot, I usually knew AF was coming soon. If they stayed up- that was a good thing. Your LP can vary by a day or so either way, you may have a 11 day LP or you may have a 13 day LP but it shouldn't ever vary more than that usually. So once you get that nailed down, hopefully the temping in the TWW will be a little easier on you. Also, I would tell myself that we had made our best efforts in the WTO and there was nothing I could really do to control my temps during the TWW other than not get drunk as a skunk and that helped too. It was all out of my hands in the TWW. Good luck!!
@BooksForMe23- Your temps are a little rocky mountain- ish. Are you temping at the same time everyday? Are you using a basal body thermometer? Are you a mouth breather (do you snore) Have you been sick? All of these things can affect your temps. If none of the above apply to you and you are using a BBT, I would recommend that you start vaginal temping next month to hopefully see some more consistent temps. I switched to vaginal after about 3 months of temping because I started to notice I was breathing with my mouth open at times or I'd catch myself temping and I'd have the thermometer in my mouth and my mouth would fall open with the thermometer in it.....Hang in there!! Hopefully you'll find a happy medium soon!
@MNturnsVA You make some great points! I know my LP is ~13 days, but last cycle I just could not for the life of me get my brain to understand the "forest through the trees" idea, so it was constant over-analysis of every little temp. I also hate not having control of something, and you're right, after O it's out of our hands. Would you recommend maybe temping towards the end of my LP this cycle just to see where things lie?
Also, congratulations if I didn't say it when you got your BFP!

@mrsdee15- Sorry for getting back to you so late- I only get on here on the weekends because my work and home life is way to crazy otherwise trying to keep up with everything.....You could try to temp towards the end of the TWW just to see what is going on. It may be too late this cycle- but if not, you could try it. It would give you an idea of some later cycle temps. The TWW stinks.....but so does WTO.....it all stinks. The one cycle I was really going crazy about my temps it was on 10 DPO and I was all excited because my temps were higher....I was being a crazy person for real. It was so ridiculous. But this journey is tough on the mind and tough on the heart, so I totally get it. Hope you will find some calm and peace with it and a happy medium of what works for you. Another thing I was going to do was to stop temping in the TWW and just wait until I hit the 14 DPO mark to test if no signs of AF. I tested way too early once back around our 3rd month of TTC and it was so hard on me. I was miserable that whole weekend. I never tested again after that until the month we got our BFP. Good luck to you!!
