Baby boy name "crisis"

Not having a solid name locked down and the weeks ticking off slowly but surely is causing me an incredible amount of anxiety (a friend just had her baby and they had to stay at the hospital extra days until the decided on a name...) the very idea of that causes me to almost break out into a sweat lol. SO I wanted to put our choices out there and see what you guys thought, and maybe if you have any other brilliant additions to our short list Thanks ladies

If you like Bo I'd go with Beau. 


Bo is backwoods country hick. Beau is a bit more classy. 

Beau short for Beauregard is awesome. 


But since it's bo, I went for Oliver

But I find it a little weird that someone would have to stay at a hospital just because they couldn't decide on a name for their baby. All of the hospitals around here, just send you home with paperwork, and you have to then go to the courthouse to file paperwork to name your kid. Which is why they hope that you have a name picked out already, because it makes it easier when it comes to paperwork, to just do it in the hospital. They would never allow you to stay longer, just to decide on a name. I wonder what the insurance code is for "Don't have a name" is? I can't imagine paying for extra days in a already busy hospital, just because I cannot come up with a name.

Beau. I like Oliver but it's pretty popular. NAF of Tucker. Isn't that a name in There's Something About Mary?

Cripes, for a second, i thought you were suggesting naming your unborn miracle "Crisis" and i was going to give you SUCH a scolding!

Had to go with Oliver. It's a nice name but I've been seeing it everywhere.

How about Jack, Lucas, Logan, or Theo?

We were sent home with a package and just had to complete it within a month. All done online. Easy peasy.

Tucker & Bo are dog's names. Oliver wins by default.

Oliver is a little too "everywhere" but it's a solid name. 
Beau spelled the traditional way would be my first choice.
And I'd stead clear of any name that can be  easily matched with F$&cker. 

Meanwhile that hospital story can not be true. Not in the US atleast.
insurance companies kicks you out your hospital bed still bleeding from the lady parts.  I'd be pretty shocked  to learn that some PPO  out there is paying for parents take extra days to contemplate name choices.

Tucker I'm not a fan of. Oliver I'm a big fan of, but it's so popular right now that it gives me pause. (It's on our shortlist but I can't commit to it because of that issue.) 

I'm going to be a bit different and say that I actually like Bo, spelled either way, pretty well. Beau seems more genteel or posh, while Bo sounds more straightforward and a tiny bit martial. It doesn't scream 'backwater guy in straw hat and overalls' to me, necessarily. It probably helps that I know two guys named Bo and neither of them are a bit like that.

Bo and Tucker sounds like dog names IMO. Actually, my dogs have better names than that.
