Hey everyone!
I've been noticing a lot of threads started lately about different pregnancy symptoms. I think, instead of cluttering the main board, it may be easier to have one place to just discuss symptoms and experiences. So what symptoms are you currently experiencing? And what do you need help with symptom wise?
@DarthFuriosa - I think you're technically signed up for the symptoms thread, so I hope I'm not stepping on toes. I know you haven't been feeling well.

Re: Symptoms Thread: Feb 18th
I fought nausea for a good 30 minutes yesterday morning, got a massive headache and terrible nausea last night, barfed up my whole dinner and went to bed at 8. Ordered preggie pops today (are they actual lollipops or hard candies?) and might be off to find ginger candies I can discreetly suck on at work.

So I've had cramping due to gas, some fatigue, and maybe a little insomnia? I woke up to pee around 2 and then couldn't fall asleep for a good hour or so, which is very unlike me. I don't know if that counts as insomnia since I fell asleep last night in less than 10 minutes. I feel more bloated than usual but appetite is still normal.

ETA: I keep looking at the Belly Book I had for DS and checking the symptoms I wrote down each week. Most of them say that I was tired, had kinda sore boobs, was bloated and cranky. I'm glad I wrote those down because they help calm my PGAL mind this time around.

I'm using up the rest of the Costco-brand Slim Fasts I have (they make a great snack on the go right now when I don't actually feel like chewing something). I had to pull over about a mile from my house this morning and chug it because I was so nauseous I couldn't drive! I'm going to have to start the crackers by the bed trick, I think. It wasn't nearly this bad with DD! Trying to explain my SeaBands at work is going to start to get tricky...

Stabbing boob pain every now and then.... oh and acne breakouts. Ugh.
Other than that, I'm feeling great!
I'm just tired and fighting a cold isn't helping. I don't have the energy to keep up with the house, packing and a toddler but I can't sleep at night. Aside from that, I'm getting cramps that go away with water/rest and I know they will just keep getting more annoying (I cramped the entire 40 weeks with my son, almost daily). I'm starting to feel very "meh" about food but no nausea in a week.

Some people have mentioned preggie pops, can anyone tell me what they are exactly and where to find them?
I think Motherhood stores carry them too.

The nausea has been the hardest for me. It started last Wednesday. It starts from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I usually throw up once in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. For the whole day I fight the urge to throw up. I gave in and emailed my doctor to see if she can prescribe me something. It's becoming really hard to concentrate at work.
@missteacherlady16 - is it typical for you to get up to go pee in the middle of the night? I know that's strictly a pregnancy symptom for me. I've been getting up every night around 2-2:30 to pee. Super annoying. And I probably pee like 3-4x times in the 2 hours before I go to sleep. It seems to be worse at night for me.
I should be around 6w4d. Supposed to have my first ultrasound tomorrow. I've been exhausted everyday since getting my BFP. Like I feel like a zombie. My boobs also hurt, but haven't for the last 2 days. It makes me nervous, but I've heard that's normal. No MS. Eating everything in sight.

I've never tried Preggie Pops, but I think they're sour candy right? Last pregnancy Jolly Ranchers helped somewhat and yesterday sour gummy worms calmed my stomach for a bit. And oddly a glass of ice cold milk has been helping the last few days. Hang in there everyone. This part really is the worst. Even the pain and discomfort at the end has nothing on 1st tri morning sickness.
@missteacherlady16 I wasn't having many symptoms either (other than some cramping and insomnia) and it was driving me crazy. Then I hit 6 weeks and bam! All day morning sickness, headaches, fatigue. I'm miserable. And so happy about it. Lol
for those ladies who don't have them yet the sea bands are heaven also preggy pops come in lollipop and drop form i love those thing they help with nausea just in general.
Oh, and my boobs are huge and they hurt like a mother. I need to buy new bras.

Nausea that comes and goes. Worse usually when I wake up and get moving around. I'm always so hungry. I feel like I could eat a horse. My teetas are constantly sore. And i feel like I can't get enough sleep. And TMI ALERT diarrhea that won't seem to quit. But I'm not complaining in the least because all these symptoms are just reassurance that Peanut is alive and well tucked safely inside.
My nausea that has been pretty persistent since 4w seems to be dying down. It's getting replaced by mood swings though.
Also, I started getting weird stabbing pains in my pubic bone. At first I was alarmed, but it stopped for now. I thought it was too early for this...
Other than that, I'm feeling pretty great. No nausea or fatigue yet, which is nice, but I feel like they're just around the corner waiting for me!

I am tired, hungry, and my boobs are sore and I have the lovely constipation. Last week was awful in the symptoms department so I am hoping that the worst is over.

Besides having to put up with this stupid cold that hasn't let me breathe or sleep well for the last 3 days, just have the fatigue, moodiness, constipation and am SO hungry! I used to NEVER eat before leaving to work and now I have to eat or I get hANGRY! LOL! I can't wait to be back to normal when this cold is gone, then I can focus on my pg related stuff. ♥
Other than that.. minimally sore nipples and a lot of constipation, which is decreasing my already decreased appetite. I think I am down a few pounds so far.
@PeggyOlsonFTW, I have the hard candy version of the preggi pops and I think someone already said there are lollipops, too. I also have a chew version (may not be the same preggie pop brand) which is also pretty darn tasty but I haven't found them quite as effective. DH got them both for me from Babys R Us.
Symptom-wise, I am perma-nauseated, autoimmune fatigue is fighting pregnancy fatigue for supremacy, and I have the concentration of a chipmunk. A very angry chipmunk.
At this point, I'm just sleeping as much as possible and trying to ride it out. Also, Perrier.
i know someone asked me about my middle of the night pee sessions. It's probably pregnancy related but I've been drinking a lot more water so it's also possible that I just have a tiny bladder. I normally could sleep through the night as long as I stopped slamming water by 6 pm but now I just drink all night so I'm getting up 1-2 times a night. Usually just once though.

And MY FACE. Can I complain about my face for a bit?? I am so broken out I can't even look at myself. It's oily and pimple-y and just terrible. I welcome any suggestions!!
Also, gas. Stinky gas. Painful gas. Gas that makes me bloated. Loud gas. Lol. I feel like Bubba from Forrest Gump, only with gas.

@missteacherlady16 my first symptoms were increased thirst and waking up at night to pee, so I'd definitely think it's pregnancy related for you as well! You're still early though. I didn't start the MS until almost week 7.
