TTC after ectopic, stillborn and an early miscarriage

Hello all! I am 27 years old and TTC. My husband and I do not have any children. 5 years ago I had to deliver at 21 weeks gestation, since then I have had an early miscarriage (4-6 weeks), and just last November an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured ending in the removal of my right tube. I still, however, have my right ovary, left ovary and left tube. So needless to say, we have been through the ringer when it comes to pregnancy. We so desperately want to conceive. My LMP was 1/10/16. I am usually 30-31 CD on the money. It is now day 38, no sign of AF. I have taken NUMEROUS PT all ending in BFN. However, two of the tests changed to faint positives only after hours of sitting. I have some symptoms including nausea, extreme fatigue and mood swings. My boobs are somewhat somewhat tender but not like before when I was pregnant. I had my PCP order a serum HCG level and will await the results tomorrow. Any thoughts on why I am so late in my cycle without AF. Baby dust to all TTC.

So sorry for your losses. I have no idea about your cycle - maybe you ovulated later than you think? Are you charting your BBT?

Welcome @vtrahan88!  I'm so sorry for your losses and all that you have been through.  Are you working with an RE (reproductive endocrinologist)?  And how are you tracking your cycle/ovulation?  I'm not a doctor, but I'm wondering if that with a missing tube it's possible you might not have ovulated this month, which could explain no AF yet.  Using BBT or OPKs would be a good way to know for sure.  I hope you get some answers soon!

We gave charting a break as my husband said it was like a chore. I was obsessed with taking my temperature and doing the deed on certain days. I think it added stress to me as well having to monitor every little detail.

I got my serum results this morning and it was <1 so negative.... Still no AF. My doctor is referring me to an infertility specialist. I'm perturbed as I do not believe it is an infertility issue because I am getting pregnant. The problem is sustaining a pregnancy. I will just have to wait and see.

My OB advised me that even with only one tube I can still ovulate from either ovary and the left tube can grab the egg from the right ovary that is missing the tube. I will be seeing an infertility specialist in April and hope that he can help us out.
