Help wth spelling...

I posted a while back about the pronunciation of Evanna and got some mixed answers. Now I'm stuck on loving the following pronunciations...how would you spell:

e-vuh-nuh
el-uh-nuh

The first one is tricky. In Croatian, Ivana is how we would spell that pronunciation. For the second, I would spell it Elena, but only because I feel like that's the closest name I can get to.

Elanna?  "Elena" sounds like "eee-lay-nah" to me.  But Elanna is made up spelling.

agree with pp to consider Alana.  It would be "ah-lah-na" so not the E sound but it gets the soft "a" in the middle that you seem to want.

Ivana and Ilana - but just to confirm I would pronounce them Ee-vah-nah and Ee-lah-nah which I think is what you mean.

Ilana is how I'm used to seeing it. In my family, it is pronounced "yil-aw-na"
