Hi Ladies, Today was a good appointment! Baby has a strong heartbeat and measuring about 8 weeks. However, the sac looks
like it might be small. My OB says this could be nothing but is having me go in for a follow up with a specialist next week. She also explained that it's tough with sonograms - sac is three dimensional and what she sees is only two. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
Re: Possible Small Sac
I'd like to point out a couple things to you and please know that I say this without snark or malice. If you have lurked this board you might have noticed that we are a very small, very tight knit community, and we are extremely supportive with each other. We would love for you to be a part of the community, and welcome you to participate with us. However I have noticed that you tend to post here only when you have a concern or when you are looking for support. We would love to support you but we are a community that works where we all GIVE and receive support.
I think you will find you would get a lot more responses to your posts here if you participated more in the weekly check-in and and the posts of the other members. Of course it is your choice how you proceed to move forward and to decide if this is the right board for you. If you would like to join us please jump in at any time, it can be hard to find the exact right board on this forum, especially when things are not going as easily as we hope. I know that sometimes it is easier to lurk in the shadows when we feel anxious.
I wish you all the best for a happy healthy baby, I hope everything goes well when you get your next scan.
