Fussy at night

lately my LO has been fussy at night. He fights his sleep, I usually rock him to sleep but I'm trying to sleep train him. He used to sleep with me but now he sleeps in his crib. I gave him a bath and a bottle and he's throwing himself around his crib right now crying! He's so dramatic lol he finally gave him and he's sleep after 10 minutes of crying. Motherhood lol

Lol I think it's because he wants to sleep with you. My son and I are still cosleeping, i figure that maybe the older he gets the better he will accustome to sleeping in his crib when older. Maybe try to rock him to sleep and until he is deep asleep put him in the crib. Keep us updated mama and good luck!

Ugh, we are about to start sleeping training. LO has been in his crib since 3 months, but we still rock him to sleep. DH has Monday and Tuesday off work, so we have decided that starting Monday, we will rock him til he's drowsy, then put him down and work our way up from there.  Hoping it's as smooth of a transition as it was getting him into his crib (I'm thinking it won't be).

10 minutes isn't too bad...it'll probably get shorter the more he gets used to it.

I did a no cry method.  Simply because my Lo would not calm down doing ferber. You slowly stop rocking them and maybe pat them to sleep, then hold them while they fall asleep.  The. You finally get to a point you can lay them in their crib to fall asleep with you beside them. I had to hold my Los hand for a while. The first time I did this it took 30 minutes and he was asleep. The next time 20. I started with naps... not bed time.  Now it takes like 10 minutes and he is asleep. I used to have to hold him for 10 minutes after he fell asleep in my arms before I could put him in crib.  Here is the website.  It did take a while to get to this point but I liked it better.
