GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day?

How many weeks/fruit size: 16 weeks/ avocado. This week is making me want to eat avocado but I can't because there is an avocado shortage in Australia atm and they are really difficult to find. 

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: baby is sitting on my bladder, which is making me feel like I have a uti, but I don't. In my dr's words, welcome to pregnancy. Sore hips, rlp, tight stomach, sore neck, headache. Dh is waiting for the high libido the bump promised him last week, but I think he might be waiting a while. 

Upcoming Appointments/Updates: I have my booking in appointment at the hospital on Tuesday and then an ultrasound with mfm on Thursday. 

I will find out on Tuesday how my care is going to go. The hospital I go through has a couple of modes of care, and due to me being high risked I will either be shared care (mostly gp with a couple of hospital visits) or hospital care (mostly hospital with a couple of gp visits). I'm hoping I'll have a more solid idea of how the rest of this will proceed. 

Thursday is an ultrasound to check lo doesn't have the same structural abnormality as ds. I'm hoping they will be able to tell us the sex and we can announce next weekend.

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day? Went to see Deadpool and tried to buy clothes that will fit me. My mum called and asked me what DH had bought me and I said nothing. She's like 'o he's gotta be better then Dad. He just said that he loves me every day of the year so why should today be any different'. I nearly died because DH said almost exactly the same thing to me yesterday. I have obviously married my dad.

The usual symptoms... nausea, major bitchy mood, hip pain, some RLP, blah blah blah. 

I think wiggly (as its now known) is actually at the point that I can feel it moving. We have our a/s in a few weeks so we should know sex then. 

We we start our vacation tonight after work. A week in cold Michigan when it's supposed to be 60+ in Colorado all week I'm excited to go see the in laws and such. I'm just super annoyed at the fact that it's gonna be so nice at home.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Exhausted and hungry. Lots of joint pain and continued acid reflux. Lots of baby kicks lately.

Upcoming Appointments/Updates: A/S on Wednesday. My husband and son are coming so we can see the baby as a family.

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day?
After 10 years and a 4 year old, we're pretty low-key when it comes to Valentine's day. We just spend time together and that seems to be enough.

Recently had an appointment and heard the baby's heartbeat again.  In 3 weeks we go in for the A/S, which I'm already both excited and nervous about. I haven't seen little baby since 8 weeks. 

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day?

Family is coming over to celebrate my birthday, which was a couple of days ago. So excited for cake !!  I feel like a little kid having a bday party though lol

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Still so tired and it's so cold here. I don't do well with being cold and it adds to my SAD that I experience every winter. Rave would be that we found out last Tuesday we are having a healthy baby girl. I still can't really believe it after five boys. I really wanted my daughter to experience having a sister. Even though they will be 14 years apart, I'm still so happy. We are naming her Alice and I bought some  cute girl things online. It's been a long time!

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day? Huge vent here. We don't ever do much of anything. Dh is working today, bartending. He never fixed the broken window in our basement and it's been the coldest days of the season yesterday and today so our pipes froze in our bathroom. He tried to fix them quickly with a  heat gun so he could shower, a pipe burst and now we have no water at all. He called my father on his day off to come and take care of it while he went to work and left me with six kids, one of whom is a sick baby, no water, in a cold house and a ton of dishes and laundry. Now  my poor dad is at the store getting things for the pipes, while he fixes drinks for people who get to go out.  This is his second job, he has a full time job and works long hrs every day during the week. So this is how I spend my Valentines day and starting tomorrow the kids are off of school for the week and I am on my own with them all week long.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
as @ButterMyBiscuit said, lots of baby kicks, even felt externally by DH which I didn't expect so early (last time was 22-24 weeks).

A/S Feb 24 during week 21. A little late, but it's all I could make work w our schedules. 

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day?
DH got me roses and we went to BRU for the day to pickup some baby stuff. Heading out for dinner tonight.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm jealous of those you feeling movement, but trying to reassure myself it's totally
normal not to have felt anything yet.  Some RLP now and then and still very congested.

Upcoming Appointments/Updates:
Regular OB appointment next week and a/s in 3 weeks!


GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day? Went to dinner last night and spent the day at home just lounging and being cozy.

Spent half the day cleaning my house. Visited with friends that stopped by for 30min. Sat around. Not feeling well today.

Weeks-19...I think mango?
Symptoms - So many Braxton hicks. -_- Even at my a/s friday the tech had to keep waiting for the "contractions" to stop so she could keep measuring whatever she was measuring. My appetite is weird. I feel like I'm never hungry, but then I'll be in a TERRIBLE mood and as soon as I eat am all happy again. So clearly there's some type of miscommunication between my stomach, my brain, and my emotions. Stress isn't helping with this lol. Oh and sciatica like woah. With my son it hit at like 6 weeks and with this baby it hit around the same time but WAY worse. Having a super hard time sleeping because I can't stay in any one position for too long.
Upcoming- like I said I had my a/s Friday, having a little girl and I have an ob appt Thursday I believe.
Valentines day- my son got a hair cut FINALLY. I bought a stroller for baby girl at babies r us and convinced them to give me 15% off lol. Got a cute t shirt at Target. The End lol.

RLP, insomnia...I feel like it's been the same list for weeks! Still not confident that I've felt baby move yet, but I'm looking forward to when I do.

We ordered pizza and played board games while we got 5 inches of snow. Perfect

Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
Rant- Super irritated with work right now. I told my team about an eye exam I had on Saturday... ended up missing it because my meetings ran long. Not to mention, there were only two nights I made it home before 1am -- I get to work around 7:30/8 am  

Upcoming Appointments/Updates:
Had an appointment today- all sounded great. Declined the Quad screening... starting to wonder if I should have done it-- anyone else forego it?!

GTKY- what did you do for Valentine's Day?
We didn't do anything special. Ran in to Nordstrom's to get links taken out of the watch DH bought me for Xmas so that I can finally wear it, went to Helzberg and they gave me a new chain for my necklace and cleaned my jewelry, ate lunch  at the Olive Garden, and then DH let me catch up on some TV shows which was especially nice.
