Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant...It's so cold here today. -27 (celsius) before the windchill cold...that's insane! And, I woke up with my throat feeling funny. I will be soooo unimpressed if I am getting whatever H has had. Rave...baby is moving around like crazy! I'm hoping soon his movements will be felt from the outside, too. I don't have a ton of plans for this weekend so I'm really excited to rest & relax, & organize some more around the house.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I think I convinced H to finally put the crib together (he's been saying we can do it & then blowing it off for weeks now, lol)...we'll see what comes of that!
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
The day H proposed. I wasn't expecting it at all (for that day, anyway lol) & it was pretty amazing. He did it in front of our best friends & they were in on it, so had the camera ready. It's a good thing because the moment is such a blur to me, so I can relive it through the pictures.
Our wedding day. It's cheesy, but it was honestly the most perfect day.
It's a tie between 2: The morning I got the BFP. We hadn't been trying for an overly long time, but it was long enough for me (6months), & I was so used to seeing those BFNs...what a surreal moment! OR The day of our 12wk scan when our little boy looked like a real baby & was moving all over the place. I didn't anticipate the rush of emotions I would feel!
How far along are you? 22+3 Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Good week. No complaints. What are you doing to prepare for baby? Rearranged entire house and next weekend plan to tackle my huge list of cleaning. Painted the nursery yesterday as well! Questions? Nope GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? I don't know what this means? I guess graduating college (I was so proud that day), getting a job doing what I love, having a baby. And I'd like to throw my honeymoon in there from last fall (where we conceived lol) I had never been to the beach before shocking at 25 I know. But that was a big deal to me. We looked like a corona commercial. Two beers a cooler umbrella and two chairs lol.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rants: Slept like shit last night. Raves: It's the weekend. And coffee Symptoms: Serious RLP. Last night at the girls night my ribs hurt so bad for the first time during this pregnancy. It felt like everything was being pushed up and squished. I honestly couldn't wait to get home and take my bra off. I'm also peeing all the freaking time.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Practicing apparently. SIL spent the night last night and had to bring her fake baby home for her school project - you know the one, where you have to take care of a lifelike baby for a week? Three times last night it "woke up" crying. I'm sitting with her this morning helping her "take care" of it, drinking my coffee and this baby keeps crying. Every time this happens our dog is all up in this doll and so curious. She's licking it and trying to comfort it. It's pretty cute and actually not a bad idea to get her used to having a baby around!

Not one particular moment per say, but when I realized I am completely happy and at peace with who I am as a person
@DeePaddy24make it a party. My husband refused to do it for forever until I told him to invite some buddies over and have beers while they do it. Took 20 mins at the most for the crib. The rest of the time was bro time. That might help!!
@DeePaddy24I can totally relate to the cold being from Winnipeg. I remember it would be so cold my nostril hairs would freeze the moment i stepped outside

@mrsschmity I took a parenting class in high school just because I wanted that doll...& the semester I took it all the dolls were out of commission. I was SO upset, lol. Definitely good practice! I feel like I should find one for H since he doesn't know much about babies!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: We had our second anatomy scan yesterday. The first was at 16 weeks but they couldn't see everything. This time everything looked great!! It was like a big weight lifted off my shoulders. With losing the third baby and having twins, they couldn't do a lot of genetic testing. So it was great to know everything is good!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I've been going through DS old clothes. I'm surprised how much we have and how many he never even wore!
Questions? Nope
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? 1. My wedding day 2. The day my son was born 3. This one is kind of long but when we first started trying to get pregnant with DS, they did an ultrasound and found what they thought was a blockage in my Fallopian tube. We were sent to a RE, who said we would have to remove that tube and our only chance of getting pregnant was IVF. I was devastated!! We knew we could only afford IVF once, so we were just praying to get pregnant with that. Fast forward to the day of the surgery to remove my Fallopian tube. Turns out, when they got in there, it was only a cyst wrapped up in the tube. I woke up to my husband telling me we could still get pregnant on our own!! Fast forward three months to our BFP!! It was the most amazing, blessed moment ever!!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Baby is moving a ton! Feeling him/her move is the most amazing feeling, I'm still in awe every time it happens. Definitely enjoying this "honeymoon phase" of pregnancy after a rough first tri.

GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? This is tough!
1. The day I graduated from college, I've never been so proud of myself as I was that day. Nursing school is hard!
2. I'm doing a two-fer of the day DH proposed and our wedding day. I feel so lucky to have found someone who loves me so much, and I absolutely adore him right back.
3. The day the MD confirmed I was pregnant. Being a mother is the one thing in life I always knew I wanted. I feel so lucky to be pregnant with a healthy baby and have a man who I know will be a great father.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My hands are weird...my left hand if I twist it wrong gets a shooting pain throughout and I don't have full range of use and my right hand is tingly... Not a fan. Rave: We're babysitting my 3 and 1 year old niece and nephew today and tomorrow so their parents (after almost 4 years) can have a night away! They're the cutest and I'm pretty pumped for H to get some practice with littles I also (in elementary school teacher fashion) planned a little Valentines Day party for us tomorrow

1. Marrying H (not really the wedding day, though). 2. Getting BFPs after infertility treatments with DS and this pregnancy. 3. Running my first half marathon, especially because it was post DS.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@DeePaddy24 I hope you're not getting sick too! Although you would obviously handle it better than your husband!
@mrsschmity I love your #3! Also, I've thought about having a baby doll around to get my dogs used to the idea of having a baby. May try it now that I hear how your pup is reacting!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I Rant: I'm hungry, but I really want to get our of my warm bed and stop cuddling with the puppies. Rave: Finally the weekend! Symptoms: Nothing new. RLP and still trying to get over a cold/cough that just won't go away.

GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? 1. Our wedding day. I loved the special moments with H, but also being surrounded by family and friends. And it was such a fun time! 2. Graduating with my Ph.D. 3. Finding out I'm pregnant on our 3rd anniversary. Two special days in one!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I guess I'm joining the "slept like shit last night" club. I keep waking up with sharp pain in the hip I am laying on. Side sleeping sucks. Loving baby jumping around more. She's so quiet throughout the day, that when she starts moving more at night it almost startles me.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Working on finishing the registry, deciding on what pump to get, and decorating her nursery.
Questions? Anyone else getting hip pain as described in my symptoms rant above during sleep? Any remedies? I have 2 memory foam mattresses toppers, a pregnancy pillow, and wedge a low against my back.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? 1. DH proposing and our wedding day. We dated for 6 years before getting married, most of that being long distance. It was so amazing to finally start our life together. 2. Buying our first home together. We saved for it and it is the perfect home for us.... Acre lot so we can garden, in my school district, perfect layout, lots of space for a family. We are truly blessed. 3. My 20 week ultrasound. Becoming a mommy never felt so real as when I got to see my little girl wriggling around and her little hands "waving". I didn't cry at the doc, but let out some tears of joy on the car ride home with DH. 4. Runners up... Earning my masters degree, traveling through Europe, getting my dream teaching job 9 years ago.
Edit because my phone loves to auto correct the hell out of my typing. I promise I know how to spell.....
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: H finally felt the baby move yesterday! He put his hand on my belly right as he kicked and had the biggest, cheesiest smile on his face. Then he went to work and came home telling me he bragged to everybody about it. It was so fun to see him so excited.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I finally started our Target registry. That shit is overwhelming.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1. Our wedding day, for obvious reasons but I was literally so overwhelmed by how many people came out to celebrate us.
2. Moving into our first place together. We moved in together after H had a blowout with his parents and came to live with me and mine. That was a disaster so we got our own apartment like 5 months later. We've been together since high school and that was the first time I realized how much we had "grown up" together and how I felt so lucky to have found love so early and even had the chance to do that.
3. I think it's a tie from when we found out we were having a boy and our little guy had a name all of a sudden or when I felt him kick for the first time and it felt like he was more than just a blob on a screen. Both of those made this pregnancy feel 100% real and like I really was this baby's mom.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: nothing to report besides the usual Rlp and back aches. Grow baby grow.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Helping family plan baby shower since they asked me to help and I accepted. Just did invites and locked up the location.
Questions? What are you planning for Valentine's Day ? We are heading to a nice hotel and the casino lol
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1) day DH proposed he just finished law school, we had dated for 10 years and we were so in love.
2) our wedding day. So much fun time with family and friends and something I wish I could relive.
3) the day we found out i was pregnant. After being a loss mom, trying for close to 2 years, being told I would NEVER conceive naturally, a month out from us taking out a loan to help pay for Ivf and bam two beautiful lines.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: its cold. Really freaking cold (for here at least) with wind chills at or below 0 F. I don't want to go outside or even leave my bed.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? my in laws are here and I'm sure my MIL will want to look at baby stuff so probably shopping.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1. My wedding day. Right before I saw H for our first look pictures it all hit me at once and I turned into a big ball of emotion.
2. Definitely the day I got a positive test. I had just come off the pill a few weeks earlier and honestly wasn't expecting to be pregnant for another few months. I took it after H left in the morning because I assumed it would be negative but wanted to know if I could drink that night. I walked around the whole day pulling up the picture on my phone because I didn't believe it .
3. Hearing our baby's heart beat for the first time at the dating scan.
Sorry I've been kind of MIA lately--waterlogged computer and busy work week. Hope you are all well!

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: It's freezing here! -25C and -35 with the windchill. I need groceries and to run errands but I can't bring myself to leave the house! Rave: Starting to feel baby move a bit more. Symptoms: STARVING. All the time.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Shopping for baby stuff, trying to figure out what to register for.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? 1. UK trip with my best friend -- was years ago, but still a highlight. 2. BC trip with my husband -- found out we were pregnant when we got home and the trip itself was amazing. 3. Proposal/wedding
@ahernandez16 That's so cute! Must make the whole thing feel more real for your husband. @hockeyfan42 Good luck at Ikea. I shudder at the thought of Saturday shopping there, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Going to do a (small) registry at target today. I think the kids will enjoy scanning things

GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? (In no particular order) 1. Giving my life to Jesus/it sounds weird, but when we had our miscarriage and I almost hemorrhaged to death. We truly felt amazing peace and saw firsthand how awesome the family of God is. 2. Marrying my best friend 3. The first times we heard our babies HBs, saw them on US and then when they were born.
I kept a running list in my head of people to respond to, but it's gone now so....yay to those who have good news
I feel like this is me every day. I have things to say to people and get to the end and its all slipped my mind...
At lot of the time I don't participate in the daily check in because of this. I fell like I either a) look selfish and uncaring, or b) have to take notes on who to respond to!
@cdnrunning My H and I
suck at pulling looks together too – our house just looks half finished all the
time. I should probably do something about that
@ahernandez16 So great that your husband felt the baby!!
Mine hasn’t yet, and I literally almost started crying when I read you post
haha

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - My H got back from a business trip after 1am last night. I waited up for him because I don't like going to bed alone if I don't have to but now I'm totally exhausted. Rave - My prenatal spa package yesterday was BOMB and I'm still relaxed. Symptoms - Baby has been kicking up a storm.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? My H wants to go to home depot today to get a table saw so he can build things (this terrifies me on so many levels), but I am looking at it as an excuse to look at paint colors.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? (In no particular order) 1. Moving to Denver from Florida. I packed up my two door car with everything I owned and made the three day drive by myself. It was the first time I felt like an actual adult and it felt like an adventure since I didn't know a soul out here. Who knew I'd meet my husband 2 weeks later. 2. The whole marriage experience. The wedding, the honeymoon, coming home to our apartment and starting life together 3. My positive pregnancy test. We'd been trying for 2 1/2 years and my H refused to look into fertility treatments so I had all but given up even though all I've ever wanted to be was a mom.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Once I peel my butt off the couch I'm getting our stroller and car seat today!
Questions? Same from yesterday, didn't really get an answer. Is a thick gunk on the nipples a sign of future leakage? I've had this a couple times inconsistently where even after I shower there's a white gunk. I'm wondering if I should stock up on breast pads now.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1) getting married. Small wedding with just our immediate families and a backyard bbq. I can't imagine it any other way.
2) H's deployment homecoming last year. One of the few times I've happy-cried.
3) Finding out we're having a little girl. It all suddenly became so real because she instantly had a name and I could really picture our future together.

@chelseay416 our house is a mixture of a nearly finished dining room with nice furniture to hand me down sofas that are probably 25 years old. We're just such a mess!
@chelseay416 my husband loves "toys" as well. Spent the entire time at home depot trying to convince me we needed a paint gun for ONE room. Lol. I almost gave in but just not necessary. We're renters anyway. Lol.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: After an ER trip and a visit to L&D at 4 am, I have been home trying to pass an effing kidney stone. Baby is perfectly fine, thankfully --no preterm labor signs or uterine irritability. Just this mother facking stone.
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1. The day we got our BFP. After being diagnosed with endometriosis a few years prior, we weren't sure we'd ever be able to have children on our own, or what it would take to have a family. My doctor gave us 6 months to try on our own, and if unsuccessful, I'd need surgery and further testing before looking at the IVF road. Lo and behold, the sixth month was the lucky one for us. I'll never forget what seeing that positive test together felt like.
2. Our wedding day. Incredible day.
3. The day we closed on our home. To us it meant roots, family, and a place to build our lives together.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rants: I hate my job right now, but I've changed my job 3x last year and am really trying to find my new "home" I wish I never left my first job as an RN, but I thought the grass would be greener, it's not. Also, but husband has been painting the nursery for 2 weeks now and it's still not done! Wtf, get on it. Rave: I finally am getting a bump and although I have a anterior placenta, I swear, so does my husband, that we can feel him Symptoms: cravings, cravings, cravings. And I'm tired all the time What are you doing to prepare for baby? Got my 2 Kate Spade diapers bags yesterday and they are gorgeous. Working on my registry.
Questions? Anyone else have a lopsided bump? My baby lays with his head on the right side and my bump is very lopsided
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)? 1. My wedding day. Other than marrying best friend, my grandfather walked me down the aisle and danced with me. He had major brain surgery and we were told he probably wouldn't live, let alone walk, 5 months before my wedding, but he did! 2. Buying our house was amazing. The buying process was extremely stressful, mainly because the sellers agent was a real *****, but once it was ours and we moved in, it was worth it all. 3. The night in October, when I was home alone and decided to take a pregnancy test before cracking open a bottle of wine. 3 tests later, all positive and the wine is still waiting for me. I wasn't trying to get pregnant, but I had excepted the fact that I couldn't get pregnant and would never have kids, even though I wanted them.
@meggyme I really don't know. I had that last time and never leaked, but I'm sure it doesn't mean you won't.
My phone won't let me copy and paste today.
Im 23+1
Its crazy cold, like below 0 F. It's the weekend and we are potty training our daughter, and it's going a lot better than I thought it would.
Not really doing anything to prepare for baby this weekend. Need to finish potty training first.
GTKY 1--not one day, but my summer abroad in the UK was amazing and life changing after an experience I had had a few months before. 2--when we bought new couches for our house. We had lived here for almost 2 years, but having couches that weren't bought used when I was in college finally made our house feel like it was home. 3--when my daughter was almost a year old I was getting her ready for physical therapy and I picked out a special outfit for her to wear. I had been struggling with severe PPD and caring about what she wore was my first glimmer of hope that I was starting to get better.

2. Getting BFPs after infertility treatments with DS and this pregnancy.
3. Running my first half marathon, especially because it was post DS.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@mrsschmity I love your #3! Also, I've thought about having a baby doll around to get my dogs used to the idea of having a baby. May try it now that I hear how your pup is reacting!
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I
Rant: I'm hungry, but I really want to get our of my warm bed and stop cuddling with the puppies.
Rave: Finally the weekend!
Symptoms: Nothing new. RLP and still trying to get over a cold/cough that just won't go away.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Working on the registry.
Questions?
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
1. Our wedding day. I loved the special moments with H, but also being surrounded by family and friends. And it was such a fun time!
2. Graduating with my Ph.D.
3. Finding out I'm pregnant on our 3rd anniversary. Two special days in one!
22+4
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
I guess I'm joining the "slept like shit last night" club.
Nothing is is ever impossible ...
How far along are you? 20 + 3

How far along are you?
24+3
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Nothing new. Just sore and my butt cheeks are always tight and achy.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Going to do a (small) registry at target today. I think the kids will enjoy scanning things
Questions?
Nooe
GTKY: Stolen from TTGP...What are your top 3 moments in life (so far)?
(In no particular order)
1. Giving my life to Jesus/it sounds weird, but when we had our miscarriage and I almost hemorrhaged to death. We truly felt amazing peace and saw firsthand how awesome the family of God is.
2. Marrying my best friend
3. The first times we heard our babies HBs, saw them on US and then when they were born.
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
@cdnrunning My H and I suck at pulling looks together too – our house just looks half finished all the time. I should probably do something about that
@ahernandez16 So great that your husband felt the baby!! Mine hasn’t yet, and I literally almost started crying when I read you post haha
How far along are you?

Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rant - My H got back from a business trip after 1am last night.
(In no particular order)
The wedding, the honeymoon, coming home to our apartment and starting life together
3. My positive pregnancy test. We'd been trying for 2 1/2 years and my H refused to look into fertility treatments so I had all but given up even though all I've ever wanted to be was a mom.
How far along are you? 22+2
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Charlie horses and nasal congestion. Just got some nasal spray because my humidifier either isn't cutting it or I wake up damp.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
After an ER trip and a visit to L&D at 4 am, I have been home trying to pass an effing kidney stone.
PSA: DRINK YOUR WATER.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms:
Rants: I hate my job right now, but I've changed my job 3x last year and am really trying to find my new "home" I wish I never left my first job as an RN, but I thought the grass would be greener, it's not. Also, but husband has been painting the nursery for 2 weeks now and it's still not done! Wtf, get on it.
Rave: I finally am getting a bump and although I have a anterior placenta, I swear, so does my husband, that we can feel him
Symptoms: cravings, cravings, cravings. And I'm tired all the time
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
GTKY
1--not one day, but my summer abroad in the UK was amazing and life changing after an experience I had had a few months before.
