Congratulations!! I was just looking the other day for an update, I can not imagine how stressful these last couple of weeks have been for you. This is such wonderful news!! Yay!

Thanks so much, gals! Apparently this specialist has done this same thing to a few of my girlfriends. He did say we're not in the clear completely, and that he's sending it out for more intricate testing. But I'm gonna call my primary OB tomorrow and see if she can send me out to a different specialist. This guy just rubs me the wrong way. This testing for us ladies in the geriatric age of pregnancy is for the damn birds!!!!!! Anyhow, thanks again!!!! Super sweet of u guys
So we got some good news. The chromosome test came back normal. They are going to do a micro array to make sure they didn't miss anything, but we're hoping that comes back normal as well. The only thing they haven't tested for yet that could explain a cystic hygroma is Noonan's syndrome which is a very specific mutation. They will test for that after the micro array. Other than that, the only things we need to look out for is a possible kidney or heart defect, which we won't find out about until the 20 wks anatomy scan.
