Yes. That can happen. That's why you're supposed to read results within the time limit. 

But a line is a line.

Yup. All the time especially in early pregnancy. Always read the results within the time limit.
A line is a line as long as it shows in the time limit, and the darkening  past the time limit could be from  pee evaporating making the HCG  more concentrated thus a darker line.
However it sounds like Congratulations  are in order!

My positive line showed up before the pee even made it to the control line haha but YES lady, that line only shows if the hormone is present so looks good for you

Yes, totally, every time!  If a line shows up within the time frame, no matter how faint, it's a positive!

I was going to wait until Saturday and see if it gets any darker and then try the digital on Sunday most likely @OrangeEv
