We're so torn on a name for our 2nd child (TTC, but it took 3 years the first time so it may be a while before we really need to decide). We've never been sold on a girls name but had DS's name, James, picked out for ages. LN starts with a K and a 'core' sound. MN for a girl will be Katherine. I want something that goes nicely with James, but isn't overly matchy.
Boys:
Names that we like, but can't use: Elliott, Daniel, William, John, Henry
Names that we like: Benjamin
Girls:
Names that we like, but can't use: Cora, Claire
Names that we like: Maren, Juliet, Audrey
Any suggestions? You ladies always have such awesome ones. TIA!

I don't think I have any girl suggestions in your style that are better than your current options. I like Audrey and Maren.
I do like Isaac, but that's our godson's name so I guess that one's off the list, haha. Elizabeth is DH's ex who was insane. I like Olive and Oliver, though...I'll have to see if I can get DH on board.
I love Maren and DH is on board, but he prefers Juliet (I don't want another J name and Shakespeare references). We both like Audrey, but are mildly concerned that it's too close to my name (Ashley) and the rampant explosion of Aubrey/Aubree/Aubreigh in our area. I don't want my daughter, with a classic, beautiful name, to get confused with that trendy mess. Bah.
Thanks ladies for your suggestions! I'm definitely adding to my list...we'll see what DH likes.
Right?! Audrey is so classic that I would seriously side-eye anyone who got it confused, but I know of 4 little girls named Aubrey born last year (including one at daycare) that the concern crept into my brain and won't. effing. leave.
Also, we had Katherine on our middle name list, but didn't use it because of the double Hepburn association. Just something you may want to consider.
I like all of your names, and pps gave some great suggestions. Good luck deciding!
