How is everyone this week? Sorry I flaked on you guys last week. I was kind of generally in denial the whole week. But I'm going in early tomorrow morning for my induction, so I guess the time for denial is over! I'm so nervous you guys! Compared to last time this should be almost fun, right? But enough about me, how are you?
Re: pgal and pal (parenting after loss) check-in
I'm doing ok. I have my 40 week appointment tomorrow. I was 3cm and 60-70% effaced a week ago and I think I may have progressed a bit more. I'm having stronger contractions and lower back pain right now but am not convinced it's going to turn into actual labor. I'm still hoping she'll hold off for another week, but I'm way less emotionally numb than I was a couple of weeks ago. How's everyone else? And how are those babies doing?
40 weeks for me tomorrow, due date, but no sign of baby. He's doing well in there so if he wants to cook a little longer I'm A-OK with that.
Glad you are feeling a little more like yourself @mwmiller4 been thinking of you too. Let us know how you progress for your appt tomorrow.
I am doing ok, still behind you ladies a little bit. 38w1d here. At our appointment dr said I was about 2 cm, and still 50% thinned from the week before. Hopefully little girl continues to keep bumping down. She's been super low for a long time (yet still very high because I have a "weird stomach") so she is in my ribs and her head is very low at the same time. I am just uncomfortable, but I want her to feel good and safe with whatever is going on if she needs to stay in longer or some out. Frankly I could use the extra week or two at work.
Thinking of you all
I've been thinking about you all day @rainbowminion ! Sending you all my positive thoughts and can't wait to hear how you all are doing!!!
Good luck tomorrow! You and baby are going to do great! I can't wait to see photos.
Edited for clarity.
How about the rest of the girls? How are you all doing? Any more rainbows arrive?
Mine came Monday the 15th. He is beautiful and healthy and I just wish the same for all of you. Helps with the understanding and acceptance of our loss once we have our little ones.
Well wishes to all- happy Friday!
We welcomed our sweet Ellie a week ago today (Feburary 12th). She was turned posterior and I spent 3 hours pushing (which didn't seem that long--that epidural was the best decision I made--the back labor and pelvic pain were unreal). She had quite the bruise on the top of her head from ramming into my pelvis and spine on the way out but is doing great!
Hope to hear of the little minion soon! Hopefully she's so wrapped up and in love she's too busy to bother with this board anymore
I will stick around to hear stories and see pics but then I'm out!
Congrats to all, the last nine months have been real xoxo
