But with my temps as erratic as they have been (definitely woke up with my mouth open this morning...) I'm going to wait it out and see what happens with a couple more temps. I'm just acting like I haven't O'd yet.

R/R/CS: I have heard that Clomid can cause dryness. We have and have used preseed, but I'm thinking about trying Mucinex this time instead (or in addition?). **question** When should I start taking the Mucinex? A couple days before expected O? I'm just not sure if it will work right away or if I need to have it in my system for a couple days.

R/R/CS: I've been gone a while, I was on leave from work for two weeks because of a botched laser eye surgery and I wasn't temping because I was sleeping in. I still P'dOAS though and oddly enough my usual FW came and went with no signs of O. I thought it was going to be anovulatory, except yesterday I temped for the first time in a couple of weeks and it was still SO low! Even after warming it up under the blankets. I thought my BBT was broken but then got EWCM later that day. At 8pm I used my LAST opk and it was +! Tthat's only happened once before, so that was exciting and lucky. Now I am back into a routine for work, back into a temping routine, possibly O'd today or yesterday, ordered more OPKs for next cycle, all is good!!

R/R/CS: I am pretty sure I already O'd. If discard the temp on Sunday (cd 22) then I get dotted CH on Cd 20 (fri). I should probably discard that temp anyways because I went to bed at 3am with a buzz and then woke up at 7am to temp (normal temp time is 5-6am). But, if I have a high temp tomorrow I get CH whether or not I discard that one temp, so I'll stick around here until then.
**Question: I am not so sure I buy cd 20 as O date... Does anyone else O on the same day they get a peak on the adv OPK? I even checked twice on the day before, morning and afternoon to see if I could get a peak before I headed out of town because I wanted to not have to bring the tests with me. I had flashy smileys both times. Chart attached.

i am the oldest of three girls. We are three years apart all born within 2 weeks of each other. We are 30, 27, and 24. My my poor dad lol. He travels a decent amount for work and I wonder now if it was timed strategically at certain times of the month lol. Pretty sure we all synced up.
DH is an only child so no siblings in law there. The youngest just got engaged so I have a BiL in my future. The middle had a girlfriend (that we adore) so hopefully there will be another sister in the future.
sldp123 is Mucinex for CM a thing? I have never heard of that. I just know that the really good Mucinex, the behind the counter kind, is the best cold medicine ever, and i haven't been allowed to take it since i got pregnant in 2014. because you can't take the good stuff pregnant, and it's also best to avoid while breastfeeding because Mucinex, and some other cold medicines like Sudafed, can dry up your milk. I find it really interesting that it would dry up breastmilk but would do the opposite and increase CM? I'm interested to hear about this too!

R/R/CS: since going off BC in 2014 i've never O'ed before CD 19, so i probably have a while still unless my body really wants to F with me. Since my cycle came back after giving birth, i've also noticed multiple rounds of fertile CM before O, and i haven't seen any yet this month. So i'm not expecting much to happen anytime soon.

Technically i also have 3 younger step-siblings (two brothers and a sister), but my dad didn't marry their mom until i was about to graduate college, so we didn't grow up together or anything, and we're not close, so i don't really count them.

No one ever mentioned that on here when i was TTC#1. You learn something new every day!

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT, OPK, CM, BD. It has also been over a week since I've had a coke! I typically drink one a day, but decided I'd give that up as well for any chance it can help this process.
R/R/CS: Got a flashing smiley on the OPK this morning. Had one this early last cycle too, but then ended up seeing 6 days of flashing smileys last cycle. Really hope that doesn't happen again. I know OPKs aren't the main predictor here, but it's just annoying to get so many days of that flashing face.
Question - I really want my H to get a SA. I can't get into my OB until April, has anyone ever called their doc to get a SA scheduled before having a real appointment to talk through everything? I'd just like to get the ball rolling on feeling like we are getting somewhere.

@Sparty18 I don't have any personal experience, as my RE ordered DH's SA, but I don't think it would hurt for him to call his PCP to see if it's something they can order. The results can always be sent to your OB/RE when the time comes, if needed.

R/R/CS: I cut off all of my hair yesterday. I have long, thick red hair that was halfway down my back, and it's above my shoulders now. It's so strange to see so short! I don't know if I hate it or love it. DH says he likes it, so whatev.

My parents are divorced, and they remarried and had kids with their spouses. I have a 16 and 13 year old half brothers and a 11 year old half sister on my dad's side, and an 11 year old sister on my mom's side. It was definitely a shock to have extra siblings later in life.
My husband is the opposite of me. He's the youngest, and was a later in life baby. He was a surprise. His sister is 16 years older, and his brother is 14 years older.

R/R/CS: well my opk was like a little more than the squinter it was before, so that's good!!!! I'll keep doing it in the mornings and when it's a decent color maybe tomorrow or the next day if I'm lucky and it progresses I'll start twice a day. Let's hope that's the case at least!!

R/R/CS: None yet really. I'm having signs that O is nearing (EWCM), but not turning an OPK. I foresee OPKs getting frustrating. Hopefully temping will soon replace them, as others have suggested.

@houseofsetters Sorry your temps are erratic this month. I plan to start temping next cycle and haven’t decided yet if I will temp orally or vaginally for the same reason that I can be a mouth breather when I sleep. Hope the next few days/temps bring some clarity to your chart. BTW love the gif
@sldp123 Wow, 3 girls in one house. I’m sure that was interesting growing up! I always wondered what it would have been like to have a sister but it was just me and my brother. I do have a pretty great SIL and will be gaining a new one this year.

R/R/CS: so I got all crazy about charting on FF. Then realized my sleep pattern is bad I can't really temp. So i got a huge pack of opks. The kicker is I'm ridiculously irregular. I charted 37 day cycle last month, but this month my opks say O day is here (day 10-13)! So I'll have to rely on the opks and hope i can catch O. guess I wont be on WTO long this time, straight into the worrisome TWW
Side note- We had our wedding last october and finally booked our honeymoon for end of march (no debt luckily)! Turns out it's easter weekend (oops) lol. Never been far from Florida and we're goin to the smokies and taking our 2 dogs on a road trip!

R/R/CS: Well, I'm about midway through my first first Provera-induced cycle. (It was about 80 days before AF finally showed!) No sign of ovulation just yet, so I'm hoping my body will give me somethin' in the next week or two. I started taking my BBT, too, which I was hesitant about at first but now I'm happy - it makes me feel like I have some control over the situation, even if I don't know how to read the chart very well yet. I'm just hoping this Metformin works for me and my cycle isn't ridiculously long again. We'll see....

R/R/CS: So, I've been talking about this a lot over in TWW, but I got a formal job offer on Friday and I accepted! I'll be starting 2/29!
I'm not sure if I should TTA for a while, and if so, for how long. I've asked myself what do I want more - a baby or a job? And hands down the answer is baby. BUT if we just TTA for a couple of months and I'm able to focus on laying groundwork for being a successful new employee and become eligible for FMLA by the time I would need to go on leave - isn't that worth it? I feel like I'm not rational enough to make the right decision (which would be TTA). On the other hand, I have no idea how long it's going to take to get KTFU again, so what if we keep trying and I'm still not KTFU in another three months? Blergh. /end rant.

My temps are always rocky pre-O. They don't start to look normal until closer to O...like CD 9 or 10. This month they're all over the place. If you temp orally it could also be that you're breathing through your mouth which can mess up temps. Hopefully they aren't so rocky the closer you get to O and afterwards.

WAYDTGKU: All the things ... except sex, apparently (see r/r/cs)
R/R/CS: My husband re-injured an old back injury in November, and we took December and January off so he could heal (turned out to be a torn disc). This month he was ready to go again, so we were trying for EOD. Then he slept funny and now he's in pain all the time and sex is too rigorous. I'm not particularly type-A, but the idea of wasting another month is driving me insane. I'm trying really hard to not pressure him, but I kind of just want to scream a little bit.
It doesn't help that O is later than usual this month, making the couple of times we DID do it (and finish) useless.
