Thoughts on Blair

My husband mentioned the name Blair for a girl yesterday. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I've never heard it before so I'm wondering how it's viewed by others. What do you guys think?

I love it, but I also love Gossip Girl which is where I first heard it on a girl.

I swear we had a Blair post last month. If you search for Blair on the board, you might see some more opinions.

Honestly I never really liked it. Sounded harsh to me. But, my friend named her daughter Blair and it is growing on me!

Oh-I wasn't insinuating that you need to delete or that you posted "wrong".  This can be a transient board so if you wanted opinions in addition to what you got here, I thought you might be interested in the other Blair thread as well. No worries!

I don't like it. It's too unisex and it also sounds pretentious to me.

I like it. I definitely do not see it as unisex or pretentious at all as PP mentioned. I've never met a male Blair and it's not like the name means royalty or anything like that.
