i have been having multiple nightmares every night! They are so vivid... It's driving me crazy because I have such a hard time falling back asleep after I wake up in a panic. I don't know if it's from hormones or lack of sleep or what!! Anyone else experiencing this or any advice?
Re: Nightmares
ETA - I also don't recommend watching The Babadook if you're prone to nightmares. Ugh. Rocking my son in the dark last night had me seriously on edge. Bad decision making on my part...
I had to laugh at your post @natalknitter15 because i told my husband my guess was that they're due to the mental/emotional weight that comes with being our dependent!
We do have a small dog I sometimes cuddle so I think my wires are crossed and I mistake him for my daughter despite the bad dog breath and copious fur!
I had the same thing with DS1. I also get images (like flashbacks) of falling down the staircase with my baby in my arms.
The first time it happened I'd drempt of falling with my lo, and woke up hugging him kind of.
He was absolutely fine, but we can all see how it could of not been.
Last night I slept better, not really nightmare ish but not happy dreams either.
