Bromocriptine hell...

Normally I don't experience rough side effects from the fertility drugs I have taken, but this one is kicking my butt. The first night I could barely breathe through my nose and as a result, didn't get a very restful sleep. Yesterday at work I could have sworn I had the flu, but now I'm thinking the nausea and dizziness is a result of the bromocriptine as well. The worst in the 4 day headache I can't seem to kick, and it's no coincidence that I started taking bromocriptine 4 days ago. I really hope these subside soon...

I experienced these side effects as well when I first started bromocriptine! I want to say they lasted no more than a week and I haven't had any issues since. A few nights I wore a breath right strip and that seemed to help a bit as well with the stuffy nose and breathing before the symptoms subsided. Hang in there! Hopefully in a few days the side effects will disappear!

I had flu like symptoms the first few days as well. I was also really dizzy the first day or two. I was on it 8 yrs and only had problems in the very beginning. I haven't been on it on almost 2 months and am sure I will have similar symptoms when I restart it again. It's nothing compared to the hell I had with Clomid though.:(

Good to know I'm not alone. I didn't feel a thing with clomid, or any other drug i can taken. I did an iui and felt amazing, minus the fact that it didn't work. Guess I was overdue for a butt kicking
