Hello all,
I have been lurking for a little while and decided to join for the mutual support of others in the same situation. I feel like everyone else around me sneezes and they end up pregnant - so I feel pretty lonely!
I have known since I was 12 (27 now) that I had PCOS but didn't have that officially confirmed until December after ultrasounds confirmed that my ovaries are literally covered in cysts. I have 'lean' PCOS - I am of very normal weight and no other symptoms except for the fact I never get my period. So I guess I never ovulate, which is a pretty big symptom to have. Even during college when I went off BC for months on end I never got a period naturally.
I had an HSG in December, everything is fine there and my hubby had a SA and he is a little on the low side. My doctor has said that it is likely we will try for clomid at this stage first, but we are waiting for our appointment with him to confirm that. Unfortunately we are stuck in the military system and it takes weeks on end to get appointments.
I forgot to mention, I have been off BC since June last year and only had one period in that time and no BFPs.
Anyway, I just thought I'd say hello!
