Preterm Labor 24 wks 1 day

So sadly enough I went for a regular visit to MFM yesterday and since then have seen 2 hospitals and they told me when I got here that most likely I'm here till there born. Although so far the contractions are stopping my cervix is not measurable. I clearly can't sleep and find myself wondering how I didn't know something was changing. But I did a little, over the weekend I thought that my one baby who was head up went head down but didn't think anything of it.I don't know why It happened but it did so every day is a blessing. I'm just really upset.and confused.

im sorry to hear that things aren't going as planned. It's good you are under a doctor's care. F/X that all goes well. Also--Don't get down on yourself, these things happen.

Hugs. I can't imagine how scary that must be but you're in good care with doctors who I'm sure will do their best to take care of you and the babies. Try to rest and not stress even though I know that probably seems impossible. Thoughts and prayers. Stay positive and keep us posted.

Lots of good thoughts to you and the babies! It's so hard in pregnancy to know what's normal and what's not! Try not to stress yourself out over it, you are doing everything you can! The hospital is the best place for you to be right now. Hopefully they stay put for a while longer!

Glad that you are in the hospital now.  It's also good that the contractions have stopped too!  Every day counts. Have you gotten your steroids yet? Are you on Mag?

Update! Good news they stopped the contractions,  but it looks like I'm spending the rest of my pregnancy here at the hospital. But that's ok so far were all still safe. Interesting fact for every day the babies are with me it's 3 days they don't have to spend in nicu. Wanted to also say thank you for all the support. Wasn't really sure what road I was headed down. But I shall keep you all updated every couple of days.

Also yes I am on mag they said for about a week and I got my betamethasone inj.  Tuesday and we'd they have been in for 24 hrs so they are helping babies lungs..... and ugh the mag is a great drug to stop contractions but dam I feel yucky.

Great news that you are still pregnant!  Thanks for the update.  Try to do what works for you to bring down your stress and anxiety levels - it will help to keep those babies cooking!

Made it to 25 weeks were excited. The stress of everything is a lot lower now. The Dr say I'll be here till 36 weeks  . But every day I keep babies with me is 3 days they will never spend in nicu.

So happy to hear that they were able to stop the contractions! Stay calm and keep those babies cooking! Make sure to have someone bring you things to keep you entertained...and of course TB!

We have hit 26 weeks and 4 days and doing well. Pushing for 28 weeks and praying for 32. Being on bed rest and in the hospital sucks but I also found out this week I have GD. But hey I'm in the best place for everything to go wrong....lol

Cheers to everyday that you are pregnant!  We are excited to be 26 weeks on Saturday - the gestational age that I delivered our twins last pregnancy.  It is a great milestone!
We are here to celebrate with you - 27 weeks, 28 weeks, 3rd trimester!  All of it!
