TWW Wednesday

Re: TWW Wednesday

  • @SuperKristy85 congrats! H&H 9 months to you, and FX for a sticky baby! Other posters who got PGAL have mentioned staying away from the BMBs for a while if you're feeling nervous - I intend to do the same if/when I ever get KU again!

    *** Congrats @SuperKristy85 ***

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 17/7ish

    Timing: -3, -1, +1, +3

    Testing Plans: None yet

R/R/CS: I've been having some weird light brown spotting for a couple days. I've never in my life had spotting and it's scaring the crap out of me. Of course, the interwebs has diagnosed me with cancer of the everything. I'm just trying to be logical and remain calm until my annual next month.

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall? Fall, for sure. The clothes, the smells, the colors, the weather... it's just the one for me!

  • @Thea519 Try not to worry too much about the spotting. I never had any spotting at all until recently. It freaked me out at first too and now it's my "new normal". Bodies are weird.

    congrats and H&H 9 to you @SuperKristy85
  • Congrats @SuperKristy85.  Wishing you a H&H 9 months!

@MrsCorker, I second @SuperKristy85...maybe you can find some travel insurance that would ease your and your DH mind and eliminate any financial loss if you do get a BFP this cycle.  Or maybe you can get your OB to write you a doctor's note to show the cruise line too support your plea for credit towards a cruise later on?  Finally, don't feel the need to censor yourself either...you've given plenty of support here on this board, and you deserve to feel supported in turn.

@jamiek1882...so sorry that you and DH are going through a stressful TTC patch.  (((Hugs)))

    Month/Cycle:  6/6

    CD/DPO:  25/11 (or 12)

    Timing:  -5, -3, -1, 0 (or -4, -2, 0, +1)

Testing:  Trying to hold off until next Monday (DPO 15/16)

R/R/CS:  My post O temps have been crazy these past several days.  It jumped really high the first 3 days and has been rockily maintaining a middle ground ever since.  It doesn't make me feel overly hopeful for this cycle, but for now, I'm going to chalk it up to traveling.

GTKY:  I really love the spring because everything feels bright/new/clean again.  Summers here are too hot, and we don't really have a fall (it typically lasts a few weeks) and winter is a complete bust (drizzly and dark).

  • @SuperKristy85 Congrats! Wishing you a H&H 9 months!

@JamieK1882 I'm so sorry. I've been there before. It sounds like you're doing everything you can do. Sometimes it feels like DHs can be such big babies sometimes. They certainly don't intend to. Maybe because their technical contribution is only a whopping __ minutes they just psych themselves out. It's all in their head space. We don't need mind blowing novel-worthy marathon sex to conceive (though it's appreciated), just a quicky will do. I'd wish they'd get that.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1 ttcal

    CD/DPO: 25/7

    Timing: -3, -2, O

    Testing Plans: ICs starting Friday

R/R/CS: Yesterday looked so promising with a triphasic temp spike, if I drew a second cover line, today's temp would've been right on it, so now I'm not so sure. Chart vanity.

GTKY: Summer, because... Camping Season! We go up to the mountains and lakes a lot. Camping means I can be a hippie guilt-free. No bra, flowy skirts, and a bandana in my hair doesn't get me side-eyed. Stupid society, gotta wear a stupid bra and wash my stupid hair, so only the flowy skirts make it in my normal getup.
  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 31/13

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, +1

Testing Plans:  Just waiting for AF to arrive or tomorrow if she doesn't show up today.

R/R/CS:  I haven't tested since my BFN on Monday and AF was supposed to start yesterday or today and nothing yet. No cramps, no headache, nothing. I'm guessing she is on her way but I usually get my period in the morning of the day it starts. My Temp had also dropped the last 2 days. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be in WTO tomorrow. If not, I'll test in the morning.

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall? Fall!!  I love pumpkins and football!!

  • @SuperKristy85 Congratulations!
@JamieK1882 Oh boy, do I know how you feel on almost all counts. We had some anxiety issues this cycle, I had a major emotional breakdown re: TTC this cycle, and I have a similar relationship with my mother. I sort of want to talk to her about TTC, but that would never ever happen.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 26/11

    Timing: -2, -1, 0, +1

Testing Plans: Hadn't POAS since my first cycle, but a friend gave me an extra and in a moment of weakness yesterday morning I used it (10DPO). BFN, but I still have hope. AF due on Saturday.

R/R/CS: I haven't participated in the TWW board yet this cycle because I had a total breakdown around my O day, including a small fight with DH, and needed to just stop thinking so much about TTC. However, as I'm getting further along in the cycle I am becoming BSC again... someone above mentioned "you should see my google history" -- yeah, I'm right there. *Deep breaths. Put down the googler.*

GTKY: Spring and fall! I love mild temperatures, and think both seasons are just beautiful.

    Timing: -4, -2, -1, O

Testing Plans: 17DPO or so when my period is late. At least, that's the plan. I may have willpower fail before then.

R/R/CS: So my first two post-O temps were unusually high. I never get that much of a temp spike. And then there was a huge dip today. I'm really worried that I didn't really O and in a few days FF will take away my CHs.

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall? Fall is my favorite. <3

R/R/CS:  Still waiting for the Dr. to get back to us about the DNA fragmentation results. Who just sends results but doesn't interpret them? The nurse made it sounds like our results were pretty typical and nothing to worry about, but I really want to know what the point of a test is if getting a highly abnormal result isn't a big deal?

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall? With how cold and long our winter is feeling I'm voting for spring! Soon, I can get all my garden seedlings growing, and look forward to summer :)

R/R/CS: DH went to get a physical and we were hoping for a referral to a urologist for an SA... but they wouldn't even do it!  They said that in our health system they like to have the obgyn play quarterback and make calls on the whole process!  I know this is impatience talking, but I really wanted to get this done to just know something, anything, concrete about the state of our fertility.  About the only thing we do know is that we're having sex at about the right time and I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating (based on bbt, but I'm not even sure I trust that anymore).  I've basically got this cycle and one more (est O date March 2) and then I meet with my obgyn March 27 to talk about next steps.  I didn't really think it would ever take this long and I really hoped that appointment would turn into something different...

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall?
Spring for those two glorious weeks where everything - the trees, daffodils, tulips - are in bloom.  I feel happier and lighter than I do all year.  It's pure joy.  Summer for day-to-day happiness - reading on my porch in the early evening,
impromptu walks with DH at midnight, dinners on patios, sleeping with the windows open, outdoor happy hours, dresses and skirts and sandals.  I can't wait!

Testing Plans: still attempting to hold out until Saturday (AF), but the will is weakening...

R/R/CS: This is so mean, but I feel like DH wanting me to test is actually motivating me not to test. Mean right? I'm such an ass.

Plus, I can't gif from mobile and it's driving me insane! Any other time I can but of course when a really good opportunity comes along for some really great Gifs, I can't perform. Le sigh

GTKY: Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall?
Fall, and I've robbed myself of the cool crisp air, sweater weather, and just overall "spirit" of fall by moving from the Midwest to Florida. Still worth it though to not have to deal with the subzero temps and overall drawn out drabness that is winter.
