Drool on drool on drool

My babe is gonna be 6 weeks old on Saturday and she is sooo drooly! Is this normal at that age? I thought babies didn't really drool until their teeth started to come in?

How do her gums look? It's uncommon but not unheard of to teethe that early.

@012016 I'm not sure what teething gums are supposed to look like

I'm a ftm too but the kids I used to babysit would have redder than normal gums that would eventually get a little whiter as the tooth was trying to pop through. I'm sure a stm+ could give better descriptions of teething though!

@012016 I'll have to check it out (while she's sleeping, of course!) and get a good look at them. When I do catch a glimpse they don't seem to look very red. Maybe it's something I could ask the doctor!
