I'm 41 weeks and fed up! Went for a sweep today but midwife was unable to do it properly. Said I was partially effaced and baby engaged but I don't think baby wants to go anywhere! Been having period type pains most of the day and have bled after the sweep but not holding out hope that it'll happen at time soon! Back on Saturday morning for another sweep and hoping it happens before I have to be induced as I'd really like to have baby in midwife led unit in birth pool.
Today is my original DD. It was adjusted to next Saturday after some debate and switching doctors. However I am 4 cm and 80% do all I can think is.... How am I not in labor?!?! I have said all along I didn't want a leap day birthday for him so what is when it will happen I am sure.
@ARogers26 I have said the same thing about Leap Day so I'm sure it's going to happen. Ugh.
I joined the club yesterday. Did a membrane sweep but my cervix is still very high and only 1-2 cm. No real contractions. I've got borderline BP trouble and amniotic fluid so we have an induction scheduled for Thursday night if she doesn't come before then. Sigh.

Hopefully my luck rubs off on you and @MichelleAG05. My EDD was 2/12 and I really didn't want a Valentine's baby. I ended up having to get induced on 2/17. Fingers crossed for both of you!
Anyone still pregnant and hoping for a leap day baby? Me me! 40+6 today. I'm a swollen, waddling, hungry mess and so ready to meet this girl! Bring it on leap day.
I am 40+4 and was hoping for a leap year baby. Looks like it will be March before we get to meet her. I'm getting super impatient and so over being pregnant! Next appointment is Thursday, so hopefully he does some type of internal exam/sweep and has good news! I'm getting bored of waiting!!
Glad to see there's at least a couple of us still pregnant! I thought I might be the only one. 40+4 here and no leap day baby! But, no baby yet either. Waiting on a call back from the doc to see if we are on the induction schedule for Thursday or if it needs to be moved up.
I went to my acupuncturist yesterday to see if she could induce naturally. She said if it worked it will be within 24-48 hours. It's been about 18 and no contractions or signs of labor yet. So, we'll see!
FTM, 40w1d, I really didn't want a leap day baby but I wish he was here already, and to make matters worse one of my friends who wasn't due until March 5th had her baby on my due date. I'm happy for her but part of me can't help but thinking "But I was supposed to go first", hopefully he doesn't take too much longer to cook.
