@MissAmeliaPond I feel the same way. Because I have had "optimal" timing other months and came up negative, I have it in my head that my timing this month was terrible (-4,-2, +1). For whatever reason, I believe they live in other people but die upon entry in me!

I was at the health food store today and came thiiis close to buying red raspberry leaf tea, then did some quick googling and chickened out because it may be bad for you during the TWW? I bought green tea with pomegranate instead.
@JamieK1882 - I've never heard that. Honestly -1 is my preferred day to get it on. From my understanding that is the single day with highest chance of cnception. Is this not right, bullies?

@khbear I could be totally wrong but I thought green tea was bad for the TWW and raspberry leaf was good throughout cycle? I just bought raspberry leaf tea on that assumption
@khbear I could be totally wrong but I thought green tea was bad for the TWW and raspberry leaf was good throughout cycle? I just bought raspberry leaf tea on that assumption
Aw crap. I've been drinking green tea this whole cycle. Anyone have info on this??
@khbear I could be totally wrong but I thought green tea was bad for the TWW and raspberry leaf was good throughout cycle? I just bought raspberry leaf tea on that assumption
Aw crap. I've been drinking green tea this whole cycle. Anyone have info on this??
Green tea supposedly makes it harder for implantation? I kind of side eye this, only because I have never seen a good scientific study on it. Anyone got one? After all, oxytocin causes cobtractions, and this is released by your body every time you orgasm...I can't imagine green tea having more of an effect than that, and no one days to stop having sex during the tww.
I have never heard of rrl tea for ttc, only preparing for childbirth. What is it supposed to do?
Ugh, I bought that tea specifically for TTC because green tea has less caffeine, and I went with pomegranate because... It's the fruit of love? I'm emotional in my TWW, just ignore me.
My quick and dirty Google search said RRL tea increases uterine tone, which could potentially cause an early MC... Now I'm not standing behind that research. I'm just saying that's what a quick Google search told me. I'm going to devote some time tomorrow to researching solid based information on the tea topic, because I don't need this stress in my life.
@khbear I'm interested in hearing about the pomegranate thing, because growing up I remember reading in the herbal guides that Greek women used it for birth control... hence the fruit of love?
The whole POM juice thing while TTC seems to be new in the past year or so. I wonder how it started...
@JamieK1882 -1 is definitely better than -2! I'd have preferred to get -1 and O if I could have!
@shaami1986 I know right?! Of course they can live in other people but not me lol. I feel like if we didn't get -1 or O, there's no chance because I've killed them all. Again, I have no evidence of this, but that's just what I think...
My understanding about the RRL is that increasing uterine muscle tone helps the uterus to be able to carry well. I have also heard the uterine contractions thing, but I'm not sure I buy it. What I read personally said it was generally safe throughout pregnancy. The only problem I've heard with green tea is potentially the caffeine content, not necessarily any other component of the green tea per se or specifically inhibiting implantation or anything like that. Even breastfeeding moms can cause sleep disruptions for their LO's if their caffeine intake is too high. The blend that I was taking (Fertilitea) is NOT recommended during pregnancy due to other specific herbal ingredients, and reviewers said to avoid during TWW. One of the links below said that Celestial Seasonings specifically ONLY USES SAFE HERBS. So generally speaking, unless you're seeking out specific herbal teas in isolation, of an herb that you're not sure what it's for, most readily available commercial herbal teas would be safe, and if they are caffeine free, are better choices than caffeinated ones.

@JamieK1882 - I've never heard that. Honestly -1 is my preferred day to get it on. From my understanding that is the single day with highest chance of cnception. Is this not right, bullies?
Testing Plans: How do you people wait until 14dpo??? I start testing like a crazy woman at 7 dpo until af comes to town.
Who are the bullies you're talking about? As for the Q- If I had either -1 of -2 only, I'd still be happy. There's differing opinions on what day is best and considered "good" timing. Etc. etc.
I wait until 14 DPO for a few reasons. 1- I don't test out my trigger. 2- My LP is long (15-18 days). 3- I'd rather see an unmistakable line than guess at a squinter.
