So. These may be stupid questions, and I apologize if they are

I had a MMC back in October. My OB told me they were sending out tissue for testing. Since then I have asked several times during follow up appointments, via phone message and via their patient email program about my results. I was told my doctor would get back to me. I haven't heard back. So here are my questions:
1) has anyone here sent out tissue for testing after a MC? Did you find it helpful to have that information?
2) How long did it take for results to come back
3) Did you have to harass your doctor for the results?
I'm trying to decide whether I should bother calling/emailing one more time. Any info on this experience is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Re: Sending tissue for testing
Your dr should have gotten you the info, and if not, when you requested if you should've gotten answers. With that being said, so many of the times, there aren't any answers that come from the testing unfortunately. Results at my hospital take 7-10 days.
I would keep pushing, and if you don't get answers I would highly suggest getting a new ob. Gl!
1) has anyone here sent out tissue for testing after a MC? Did you find it helpful to have that information?-yes, I have had two mmc and sent both for testing. The first was inconclusive and the second gave me an answer (turners syndrome). Having an inconclusive sucked. I was glad when the second gave me a reason for the loss.
2) How long did it take for results to come back?- The results took about a month.
3) Did you have to harass your doctor for the results?- No, he set my expectations to one month and called me himself a little after 3 weeks.

I'm trying to decide whether I should switch OBs. I like her but her office is an unorganized hot mess since the second OB in the office retired. The other issue is that she promised to monitor my progesterone levels (I had super low levels before) with my next BFP. I don't think a new OB will do that until I've had two or three MC, and frankly I'd prefer not to risk it.
