Ladies,
so I started my meds on Saturday night, Gonal f and menopur. This morning as I was injecting the Gonal, I realized I have not been injecting it into myself at all. It's a pen, and I just assumed it was going in..but this morning it clicked and dose meter went down! So dumb!!
Has this happened to anyone else? I just called the nurse to see what I can do. Does this really mess things up?
Re: Freaking out!
Not sure if it really messes things up. Here they like you to start day 2 until day 4, so you have enough time to respond on the meds.
I hope the nurse comes with happy advice and you can relax again. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Shw he just called, I can't inject what I have already missed the past two days. Just need to continue and hope my cycle is not compromised. They might increase the those of the menopur to compensate for what I have missed with the Gonal f. I am so upset.
I hope it all works out.
Dont worry too much, it's quite common they'll up your doses along the way if you are not responding to well.
Mine got changed two more times after check ups. So they probably end up doing that with you too. Not everyone reacts the same on the dose, so next check they'll know more, and will fix the missed dose (I say missed, but it's not really missed, as they'll make sure your follicles will grow the way they should in the end, trust me)
So breath, you are doing good!

I really hope they'll be able to get you back up to speed. Luckily it was only a few days so my fingers and toes are crossed extra hard for you. Do you have any ultrasound appointments to track the progress? any updates on how things look?
