Tears.

I'm a little over 6w PP and I'm pretty positive my 2nd degree tear opened up again..don't even ask me how that happened. I have an appt this afternoon (weather permitting) so we'll know for sure but wtf!!!! Does anyone have any experience?! I feel like I'm starting all over again. If it's not one thing it's another. To top it off DD just now fell asleep after being awake for 8 hours straight. Sigh.

That sounds awful. Hope you made it to your appointment.

What makes you think it's opened up? Is there pain or just bleeding?

I ask because if it's just bleeding, it could be a period, maybe.

We got 10" of snow today so I wasn't able to make it. There is some pain and blood. Have to wait until next Tuesday, joy.

I made the mistake of looking down there and am pretty convinced mine is opened.. or why the hell does it look like that?! My 6w appt is tomorrow. I'm more nervous than before giving birth lol!

Lol! I looked last week and looked yesterday morning. Definitely looks different than the first time I looked! I have had a transvaginal ultrasound and they removed left over placenta at 2w PP. If it's not one thing it's another!

I had an episiotomy with DS and 2nd degree tearing. I very much wish I had stuffed my curiosity way down somewhere deep and never looked.
