Pimples or what?

My baby is 4 week's old today and from last 2 days she has light red color bumps/pimples on her cheeks and buts (not looks like diaper rash) and I am applying a&d petroleum with every diaper change and let her air dry but no improvement any ideas ladies. Thank you in advance for answers. ..

Maybe try not using the A&D with every diaper change. Petrolatum and mineral oil can clog and congest the skin (mineral oil's molecules are larger than pores, also a lot of people have allergies to it and the reaction is in the form of break-outs). If you're worried about soothing babies bottom try coconut oil, or a lanolin cream (like what you apply to nipples), I use a natural cream made up of jojoba oil, rose wax, and candelilla wax which works wonders on my babes bum AND my nipples

Yeah my little one got baby acne at around 3 weeks , it lasted about a week. I dabbed on breast milk it seemed to help on her face

My baby has baby acne on her face too. Started around 3w and she's almost 4w now. They come and go. One day she'll have pimples the next it's gone but other new ones. I've read just to keep face clean. I just wipe with warm washcloth morning and night, it's very common and nothing to worry about. I wouldn't add products that may clog their pores or irritate skin though

Coconut oil!!! My little guy has developed it on his cheeks, too and after applying coconut oil 3 times, it's almost gone! And coconut oil is great for diaper area, too!
