Rants/raves/symptoms: I've been starting to feel our girl becoming a little more active again - her sleep schedule and lack of movement had been making me nervous. Heartburn has been pretty consistent still. Otherwise, I've been feeling really great.
Upcoming appointments: Feb 8th
Questions for the group:
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Daycares! Do we want a daycare center, an in-home daycare, or an in-home nanny? Even though we won't need child care until September 1st, I told Husband that it's something we need to start looking into now so we're not making last minute decisions or are screwed in September when we don't have a plan.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Yay congestion. DH says it always sounds like I'm sick and sniffly. I think heartburn may be making its comeback as well.
Upcoming appointments: Not again until 2/29. Just had one this past Tuesday and it went well. Baby is healthy and we planned out my glucose screening, rhogam shot, and childbirth/baby care classes.

GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Daycares, pediatricians, and setting up the nursery.. We did finally manage to pick our daycare and put down our deposit, but was it ever a process. Now on to pediatricians. I'm pretty sure we do have ours picked (he came with a lot of good recommendations, is well reviewed online, and is also taking new patients) but we still have to set up an appointment to meet him first. We are finally making some headway on the nursery. The only stuff left in there is baby stuff (finally) and DH is prepping the walls for painting today.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Really just reflux and occasional BHs. Not bad at all! Huge appetite
Upcoming appointments: Feb 8th is what could be my last cervical length US and MFM appt. Fingers crossed! Our multi-pronged approach to keeping preterm labor away is working so far!
Questions for the group:
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Truthfully, I've been obsessing about the other "babies" recently - trying to decide whether or not to do 2yr preschool. My energy for research/interviews/tours is pretty low, but DH wants a full report on everything. grr Can't I just pick the one everyone uses?

Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor
and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
Rants/raves/symptoms: passed my GD test this week, no lecture on weight gain. Feeling pretty good. Still occasional heartburn. Feeling bigger than I ever did with my first though.
Upcoming appts: just had one Thursday. Don't go until Mar 9th. We do have an elective 3d ultrasound next weekend!
GTKY: what have you been obsessing about? Nursery decor and finding a coming home outfit. I can't find anything I like which seems crazy with all the baby clothes and options out there.

Rants/raves/symptoms: craving cereal, heartburn is becoming more regular and I've had a few BH. This is kid kicks like a mule too!
Upcoming appointments: I just had one this week, pretty low key. Glucose test next week and an appt on the 16th.

GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? I just fought some more cloth diapers in the coop I'm in. I'm trying to figure out how much old baby gear I'm going to trade in at babies r us too. We move at the end of next month and I'm getting really excited for all the new changes.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Sciatica! But I'm too lazy to do my stretches, so I deal.
Upcoming appointments: 3D on Thursday! This is our last chance at finding out sex. I just want one, good confirmation pic, just one.
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? I thought for half a second last week that I should start stocking up on diapers…but that's about as close as I got to obsessing.
Rants/raves/symptoms:
Rant: I wore a non-maternity top and pants to work yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks, and ugh, I was so uncomfortable all day. Officially putting those clothes up.
Rave: no stretch marks so far.. My mom told me that she never fit any, so fx that it's the same for me.
Symptoms: hip pain at night
Upcoming appointments: just had our anatomy scan on 1/28. It's s boy! My next appointment is 2/18. I'll have the glucose test and another ultrasound to check the growth of the baby's kidneys

Rants/raves/symptoms: Im feeling great although I started having RLP this week.

Questions for the group: Where is everyone getting their maternity pants? I can't find black pants/ khakis that aren't super expensive.
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? The nursery! H was on vacation this past week and it is almost done. He even made a built-in bookshelf in a day.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Braxton hicks contractions. Ugh! But babies have been moving and kicking like crazy, which is crazy cool.
Upcoming appointments: Just had perinatologist ultrasound on Wednesday and babies were both doing well. Have another and OB in 3 weeks. Just signed up for childbirth and infant care classes.
Questions for the group: Is interviewing pediatricians really worth it?
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Getting crib bumpers done. If I were only having one baby I'd be done by now.
@khochanadel are you aware that crib bumpers are not considered safe?
Week/ fruit: 27/rutabaga/bunch of bananas
Rants/raves/symptoms: Mostly just not sleeping so well. Waking up with hip pain and leg cramps.
Upcoming appointments: I have one on Friday and it includes the GD test.
Questions for the group: I've been feeling less movement the past few days. Any possible reason for this? I'm trying not to let it bother me.

Finding him pants. They make so few pants for baby boys that aren't sweat pants or very casual. My son needs pants!
Rants/raves/symptoms: I was woken up 3 times on Friday night by the leg cramps that TB keeps mentioning...I've managed to escape that fun symptom until now. Heartburn is still pretty awful. Otherwise, things are going well.
Upcoming appointments: This coming Thursday, & I assume we'll set up my glucose test at that time.
Questions for the group: Answer for the group I guess... @pooputtette I had luck online at Destination Maternity, and also Kohls online.
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? The actual process of labor. Sh!t got real during our hospital tour. What if I'm in labor for 40 hours or something crazy like that?????
Rants/raves/symptoms: swollen feet and ankles. Got some ugly but comfy shoes yesterday so hoping it helps! Happy it's going to be in the 50s twice this week so I can wear dresses those days. Kinda over leggings and I can't handle jeans anymore. Just want to be comfy for the remainder of this pregnancy.
Upcoming appointments: next Monday. GD test, monthly check up and I think I'm getting a whooping cough vaccine too.
Questions for the group: how does one find a pediatrician? I don't have any friends with babies in my area to ask for recommendations.
GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Ummmm everything! Last week I was obsessing over a rug for the nursery (see the nursery thread for that mini meltdown). We'll see what this week brings!

rants/raves/symptoms: SO MANY KICKS! but I'm so exhausted and my hips already hurt, my boobs are continuing to grow, acne is a little frustrating and my gums bleed every time I brush my teeth

GTKY: what have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Everything, but mostly a name and starting to organize his things.
My SIL thought it was kind of silly and paranoid, until one day she saw my nephew have his face right up against it. She took them out after that.

rants/raves/symptoms: F'ing heartburn ruins my life. I've thrown up twice today bc the heartburn with my cough
gtky: just freaking about decorating two rooms, I hate all baby bedding and am just over it. I am moving the 2 yr old to a new room and want to redo the nursery bc this baby needs new things. Actually this baby is getting all hand me down clothes, it's just the realist in me knows I spent 14 months sitting in the rocker breastfeeding in a turquoise room and somebody needs a new coat of paint in that room!! Maybe mint. Something soothing. I need to get on it. Why can't I have any decorating talent? Holy rant.
Rants/raves/symptoms: My sleeping has gone to shit, even with the Snoogle. My hips and legs ache, it hurts to turn over, I lay awake even when I'm tired. Sucks!
Upcoming appointments: So, I borderline failed my gestational diabetes test. My doctor is not going to diagnose me with gestational diabetes but wants me to track my sugars and see a diabetic counselor. My appointment with the counselor is this Thursday. I've been googling and trying not to freak out.

GTKY: What have you been baby-related obsessing about lately? Decorations for the nursery! I think I am going to buy some cardboard animal heads to put above the crib this week.
