    ttc #1 for a while

Temping and sex. We are also researching alternate options. Have been working with RE office on possible egg donation - have an appointment next week with RE to discuss. Also taking class to become foster to adopt licensed.

CD15 and waiting to O. Hoping its soon and that might cycle is back on track this month after all the FET suppression. We will see.....

Our expectations for conceiving our own naturally have drastically dropped so has taken the pressure of there. On one hand excited to move forward with options where we are more likely to be successful with having a family, but they are super overwhelming. So feeling a bit overwhelmed these days.

I rarely see movies, but we went to two in the past 6 months (more i think than the past 5 years). Saw The Martian and of course Star Wars. Loved them both!

Shout to all!. Sorry i haven't been on the board much lately. It has been an especially crazy month at work plus our internet has been even slower than usual so patience for computer stuff after work hasn't been very good.

    TTC #2 since August 2015

Everything is still "normal" so I am just using OPK and a ovulation tracker. I see my GP every three months since I am a diabetic and we talk about TTC. Since my periods have been regular and I am taking metformin for the diabetes, she doesn't think I need any other aides. Lol! Except more time with my husband when I am ovulating.

    I am waiting to ovulate

We rented Man from U.N.C.L.E. which was pretty good. That was the last movie we saw.

    2. We are on cycle 2 of TTC #3.
    3. I am charting/temping, but my sleep is a disaster so this month's chart looks terrible.
    4. I am on CD 11, waiting to O. I normally O around CD 16, so I'm getting into fertile time.
    5. I am hopeful and excited to be getting closer to the point of being able to do something about it!

QOTW : We rarely get to the movies these days, but we did see Star Wars and really liked it :-). We watched all 6 of the others before going.

    TTC#2 for a year and a half,

This cycle I got all my blood work done (all normal) and was supposed to have an HSG done but due to some confusion over how long we were supposed to not have intercourse before the appointment we had to pass since the radiology dpt wouldn't do it if we had sex within the last 7 days. Super frustrated but oh well I guess, we will probably do it next month if this month is a bust for us.

Currently on CD 12 waiting to O

Not sure how I feel about this cycle, I didnt O last month so Im worried I wont again this month.

QOTW: The last movie I saw was the new Star Wars which was awesome, but other than that no I haven't had a chance to get a date night in a while. reading some good books though that are also movies! The Martian and The 5th Wave were great! Have not seen the movies for them yet but Loved the books!

    @dolphin012
I hope you get good news on the egg donation and foster to adopt. Its exciting to hear about people looking into alternate routs. Let us know how it goes!

TTC#1  Cycle 3 or 4.  Don't know if I can really count October.

Charting/Temping/OPK (started temping and OPK this month)

Currently in the TWW, 9DPO.  Probably will test this weekend.  Spotting and cramping a bit.

    Still hopeful though.

QOTW:  We saw the new Star Wars and really liked it.  DH is a big Star Wars fan and he was relieved that it was much better than the prequels.  During the snow storm we watched The Martian and Trainwreck.

  • @dolphin012 , I have friends who have worked with egg donors as well as patients.  It's amazing!
    @rspalding001, fingers crossed for O'ing!!!
@Happilili, here's to hoping for implantation bleeding, right!?

Still trying to drop some LB's for our planned April IUI.  Taking DIM, Spearmint, Probiotics, Metformin and PNV's with extra Vit D.  PCP keeps trying to put me on BP med's since I've been high for years and refused meds.  She's convinced me it could help TTC.  She gave me Procardia that led to the worst migraines ever , then one that causes birth defects and then one that is simply not recommended for pregnancy.  Don't know how much more I can take!  I've chosen to be a bad patient ;)

Movies?  I want to go see 13 hours with DH tomorrow!  Saw Norm of the North with LO this week after being snowed in.  HIGHLY recommended for all!  I didn't see any ads for it but it was really cute.   Kudos to all the Star Wars fans out there!  I am probably one of  the 1% that haven't seen any of them!

    Charting, monitoring CM

    11 DPO

I have zero symptoms other than more CM post O than usual and some very light brown spotting the last two days (normal for me). Not sure what to think. We are going to a party at a winery tomorrow night and I'm torn as to whether I should test tomorrow or not.....honestly trying not to test today, telling myself that my internet cheapies won't be sensitive enough anyway.

We saw both Star Wars and The Revenant. Both were really good, extremely different movies, but both worth watching!

This cycle I am feeling indifferent. Just trying to enjoy the time with my husband
We saw Star Wars which I absolutely loved. I want to go back and watch it again and again! We rarely go to the movies because for us it's a waste of money... I call it the $12 nap for my husband!! This was the first movie he didn't fall asleep in for as long as I can remember!

    Will monitor CM.

Waiting for AF to exit the building at CD 3.  I missed yet another month this past month thanks to illnesses, so this month we are going to put forth our best effort in quite some time.   Also will not be using lube - just realized this could hinder things.

I loved the new Star Wars, too!  That's the most recent movie I've watched.  I was always a fan growing up thanks to having an older brother.  We always played Star Wars.  My husband was never into it, which astounds me, but whatever.  He loved this movie and now he wants to watch all of the Star Wars movies to give them another chance...at least the original three.

Good luck to all in TWW!!!

  • 1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.

    Susykat77 Colorado

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?

    TTC #1 since July 2014

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)?

We did a last ditch every try with Femara this cycle. I guess just trying naturally (without drugs) after 4 IVF's seemed silly. BUT we are moving onto DE and just got the call yesterday that that have found a donor!! She'll come off BC on Feb 5 and ER should be around Feb 20. So excited!!

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?

I'm in my TWW 15dpo. BFN today so I'm just waiting for AF to show up. Although I think I had a positive OPK on CD 13, With out that in FF it says I O'd on CD 16 which would make today CD 12. AF is nowhere to be seen so I'm thinking my OPK is off and my temps are more accurate. Ugh.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

Eh. Honestly there is such a tiny tiny chance that we can ever conceive with my eggs, much less the old fashioned way. So I'm just ready for AF to show up and plan my DE cycle.

QOTW: Seen any good movies lately?

Like most others, I recently watched Star Wars. Loved it.

@PoeMasque I've been wanting to see Revenant but I've heard such mixed reviews. I've heard that it's pretty gory. I'm not opposed to that if it's done well. So I haven't decided yet. What's your take?

@dolphin0123 So exciting the steps you're taking!! Once I was ready for DE, I was really ready!! Good luck!!

@rspalding001 Bummer about the miscommunication with the HSG! But hopefully this is your month!

  • @susykat77 it is definitely gory....although that is important to the story, so I didn't find it distracting. Although I'm an ER nurse so my tolerance level might be higher. The only negative was that there's no way one guy had so much happen to him. The story is based off of a legend though, so it's supposed to be pretty fantastical.
