Spectra 9 plus vs Medela

My insurance will cover the cost of a pump. There's is a list for me to choose from and I've narrowed it down to the Spectra or Medela. Any STMs have any opinions? I know Medela has been around a while but the reviews on the Spectra seem just as good.

I'm not a STM, so I can't speak for the quality of the pumps. But I had narrowed it down to the same two as well based off reviews. I ultimately went with the Medela because the accessories and replacement parts are carried in stores near where I live and the spectras I would have to order online.

That is weighing my decision. But the spectra seems to have less bad reviews about the motor having issues.

I went spectra because I had a Medela before and didn't like it all that much. The hospital lent me a spectra while I was in and I LOVE it! I can't wait for mine to come in.

Do you know which model it was by chance?

I can't say about the Spectra but I love my Medela. This is my 3rd baby and I still have it so it's been good to me so far.

Do you know which model it was by chance?

The one I've been using is the S1. I ordered the S2, but had an option for a 95 (or something like that).

I ordered the spectra S2 because I heard great things about it.
