This Exactly. I hope this is what it is for you. I started having pain on my left groin around 22 weeks, kept getting worse and worse, started swelling. My doctor didn't think it was a hernia but decided to rule it out with a groin ultrasound at 34 weeks, and it ended up being enlarged blood vessels (or groin varicose veins). Doctors can typically rule out a hernia without an ultrasound so I would definitely mention it, but he wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else troubling. Varicose veins typically go away after pregnancy.dramaphile said:Could be a varicose vein
