Progesterone Question

Hi! Is progesterone at it's highest or lowest in the morning? I ask because mine was only 3.5 after 14 hours on Endometrim and stopping Lupron the night before. My doc is on vacation and another doc thinks I need to start PIO, so I want to retest at the right time of day since it can effect your results. TIA

I think progesterone just increases as your progress through your cycle, and doesn't fluctuate that much within a day. Is it possible that you just haven't ovulated yet? I don't know about your treatment protocol and where you're at in your cycle, but it seems low. See the graph for more information on typical levels of progestorone throughout the cycle.

I'm doing an FET and transferring on Wed. I was on Lupron for 30 days prior to staring the Endo. They like it above 10 for transfer. Thx for the chart.

When I was on endometrin I went in for a blood test and it was low so they upped my dosage. It helped bring it up to a normal level, but it seems weird that they would test the day after starting it. Obviously on an FET all your hormones are suppressed so it should take your body a few days to respond.

I'd agree with @AandDM2014 in that a day after stopping Lupron (which put growth on your lining on hold, which is why it's used as a treatment for endometriosis) and a few hours after your first progesterone is way too early to tell anything.
