I made this yesterday. I threw a large jar of some generic pasta sauce in the crockpot. I threw in a couple of spices and cut hot Italian sausage into bite sized pieces and put that in. I let that cook on low for about 7 hours and then just threw it over some rigatoni.

It was easy and I think the crockpot/sausage combo really gave the sauce a good flavor without much work. Perfect snow day meal.

    Pulled chicken sandwiches-
Put chicken breast glazed with BBQ sauce in crockpot on low for 5 hours with about 1/2 cup water. After cooking pull apart chicken with fork and throw on a sandwich.

(This is my SIL's recipe that I have not tried yet but will this week. She served it at my nieces baptism last week and it was delicious)

This week I'm planning on making a new spaghetti bake recipe I found on Pinterest. Basically layered cooked spaghetti, tossed in butter to avoid sticking. Add whipped cheese blend (1.5 cups ricotta, one package cream cheese, half a cup of shredded parm). Top with sauce (I'm using meat sauce) and bake for 25 min.

Do the recipes we post need to be 5 ingredients? Or is that just a bonus? Here is this weeks meal plan, including what's for dinner tonight. We'll have leftovers 2x and go out to eat once this week. It's just my husband, myself, and our 9 year old daughter, so recipes easily feed us for 2 meals.

Shrimp Creole with rice and a green veggie.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos with Salsa and Guacamole
In a crockpot place chicken breasts, taco seasoning, 1 can of drained black beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes with juices, 1 can drained or 2 cups of frozen corn. Let cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4. Shred up chicken and mix all together. Serve in hard or soft shells.

Cabbage (vegetable) Soup With Garlic Bread

The recipe calls it a "fat burning soup"... it's just a delicious, hearty, veggie soup to us.

@CosmoAnne1 I laughed at the way you spelled spinache. It looks like my DHs spelling. I'll be standing in the produce isle scratching my head, trying to sound out his grocery list.

I don't know how the guy graduated high school.
