Target return??

Will they let me return baby food? I bought boxed "stage 1 for 4 month" Ella's organic kitchen pouches get home and notice all the pouches say "stage 2 for 6 month"!!! I'm so pissed. I bought so many of them, opened the boxes, and now they are the wrong stage. I want to return them and get the correct stage. Since the boxes were sealed, I can only assume it's a manufacturing error, not Target. I have my recipe, it was from tonight. I tried to get a lot of them to stock up....now I'm back to having nothing I can even use. So frustrating. I always hear they are impossible with returns but this wasn't my fault!

Re: Target return??

  • I have never had a single issue with target and returns. If the packaging was incorrect, I would assume they would have to take them back.

  • Target.Com once sent me 35 various employee target shirts with my orders packing slip inside lol it was a bitch to return but eventually it all got taken care of. They really work with you to return stuff good luck
  • My husband returned opened formula last night with no receipt. Years ago their return policy sucked but now they've gotten so much better. I'd definitely take them back.
  • It's not your error; I'm sure they would return them! They let me return 4 bridesmaid dresses I had purchased online even though I was a few weeks past the 90 days I had to return them, no questions asked. They also let me return a pump flange that was the wrong size, even though I had ripped the box when opening (they just defected it out).
  • Yes I have returned formula we couldn't use due to allergies
  • Yes I have never had any issues with target and returning items! It's not your fault and they will be able to see that. There is no way you could have known when purchasing that the wrong items were in the box. Good luck mama!
  • I work for Target and our return policy is very very accepting. You can pretty much return anything, regardless of having a receipt or not, even if it's been used. I would let them know about the packaging so they can inspect the other boxes they have in stock.
  • Thank ladies! I just always heard how big of a pain returning anyway was there! I'm going to get cleaned up and walk in with my BAGS of baby food. Omg. Lol. Not looking forward to this.
  • Target sucks for returns and exchanges, but due to the fact it was manufacturer error I'd try. If the store doesn't take it. Go to corporate. When my store refused to return I contacted them to fix it and I got coupons with them fixing the problem
  • I returned formula there and babies r us no problem.

They took the opened boxes of wrong baby food back and they apologized up and down!! Very nice about it! YayTarget! They are actually going to make some calls and look into it. It was clearly a manufacturing error and calls will be made about it. Glad I brought it to their attention.
