What does your OB say? Mine gave me a list that was considered "safe" to take without consulting them first.
No medicine is completely safe for pregnancies. Most don't want you to take medications in the first trimester unless your symptoms are completely unbearable and the benefits out weigh the risks of stressing you and baby.
I would consult your doctor first if you weren't given a list because some offices differ from another on what they consider "safe".
